Mantras are like medicine for the soul

When we recite a series of words in the form of a mantra, we are affirming it to ourselves and allowing its meaning to seep below the surface, into our subconscious, helping to shift our negative habits and patterns into positive ones.

I have gathered 3 motivating mantras to inspire you to love life, people and above all yourself, thereby boosting self confidence and inner beauty. Do have a read!

Before we jump into these golden rules, let’s find out –

What is an Inspiring mantra?

It is a Sanskrit word which means “sacred utterance”. As per Hindu mythology, mantra is supposed to be repeated over and over again. The purpose behind this is by reciting the mantra several times, positive energy along-with intent is released. Such a mantra is the inspiring mantra.

An inspiring mantra can inspire you, strongly motivate you and prompt you to take action accordingly.

1. Accept Who You Are

With my personal experience I can vouch for this with complete confidence. I have benefited from the power of mantra several times. By far, this has been my favorite mantra with a powerful transcendence.

To be honest enough, I learnt this the hard way, but I’m happy to have learnt it at the right time. I am able to see clarity in many things and a direction in life. It’s humane not to be satisfied with what we have and what we are. And we just take it for granted whatever we have at the present. For instance, we take jobs we don’t really care for, stay in relationships we don’t genuinely love, and pretend to be someone different for everybody else.

On the other hand, most of us wear masks, as we are afraid to let the world know about our true self , fearing them to be judgmental. And I’m telling you, it’s a heck of a lot easier to just be you—whatever that means, whenever, wherever. The fact is while we’re too busy making ourselves appear to be someone else, we’ve actually killed ourselves from within. And it can be a long, slow and painful death to our soul.

So, the message behind this inspiring mantra of life is to accept yourself for who you are, and just be you.

2. Behind me is infinite power, before me is endless possibility, around me is boundless opportunity. Why should I fear? ~ Stella Stuart

These are certainly some golden words to take inspiration from. After reciting them a few times, you’ll realize how the world is truly open and abound with endless possibilities. Imagine saying this inspiring mantra to yourself every morning in front of the mirror. It would really start your day off with a powerful intention, boosting your self-confidence.

3. I have chosen to be happy because it’s good for my health ~ Voltaire

As saints have told us being happy or sad is just a state of mind, so this motivational quote by Voltaire is truly the secret to happy life. When you make up your mind to stay happy, you will be, but you have to make that choice. At the end of the day, it is up to you alone how you take things and react to situations occurring around you. Even it is up to you how you accept life.

Voltaire had offered us this wise adage a century ago, but how genius he was to preach such an inspiring mantra for a healthy life. After all, healthy mind leads to healthy body.

Hope this helps!!
