The same day as Bharti Singh, television star Aashka Goradia too joined the ‘newly wed’ club – all in style. The actor took the plunge with longtime beau and pardesi babu Brent Goble. The dreamy outfits she donned for all the days of prolonged celebrations and festivities were straight out of a fairy tale and caught our attention like never before. From her very effervescent separates she threw on for the Mehendi ceremony to the romantic white bridal gown, all these numbers would take your breath away.
Just being love birds
We stole a quick peek-a-boo as the soon to be husband and wife let the naughty took over during their wedding shopping. Pretty sure the American groom was loving his fiancé in these Indian colors. Now that’s not fair on our part to invade their privacy, but now that we did it, why not share a little with you too?
The Mehendi
Vibrant and charming was the mood of the outfit Aashka picked for Mehendi. The lemon green floor length skirt with its flirty ruffle detailing captured our eyeballs. We instantly fell in love with the pop of pink that defined her bright high-neck blouse embellished with beaded work also. Though the coy Gujarati banno kept the look easy-breezy for the day-time function, the addition jewelry made out of fresh flowers were ritualistic for the ceremony. On a face bereft of any make up a strong dash of red the lips and pink eye shadow were very appealing. Her soft curls completed her look for the day.
Sangeet
Aashka and Brent’s Sangeet ceremony was another glamorous affair. The bride to be appeared resplendent in her teal lehenga designed only for her by ace designer Archana Kochhar. We love the blue, as opposed to shades of pink, red or orange that Indian brides generally opt for, but turns out Aashka had a very different and significant reason to settle for this shade of blue. As she declares on her Instagram post, she elected the colour because it matches Goble’s eyes perfectly. The lehenga wrapped in rich gold embellishments was a piece of a star-studded midnight sky, and we are totally digging the way she styled her hair in a voluminous ponytail. The quintessential necklace with matching earrings and a statement maang tikka round up the look for the evening.

The White Wedding
The Indo-American wedding appeared to be the perfect blend of both the cultures. For her Christian White Wedding, the bride was a vision of heaven. It will warm up your heart to know that Aashka has put on her mother-in-law’s wedding gown, which with its floral applique work and bouffant sleeves and all the charming details fit her like a glove. A trailing tulle veil and a generous amount of pink on the lips blended well with the dewy glow on her angelic face.
The Desi Wedding
For the most awaited day, aka, desi wedding, the Naagin actress settled on a traditional lehenga. The red bridal ensemble from the house of Rimple and Harpreet Narula was a sight straight from the seventh heaven. We admired the scallop detailing and the intricacy of the golden adornment on the flowy number was deserves a standing ovation. To accessorize her oh-so-special look, our beautiful bride picked a lavish gold necklace with earrings, matha patti and nath to go with. And don’t miss the hands stacked up with kadas and bangles.
