Bollywood’s favorite chocolate boy who isn’t so chocolaty anymore, Shahid Kapoor will be turning 36 on the 25th of this month, but the birthday celebrations have already begun. Six days before his birthday, the birthday boy was treated with a surprise bash hosted by wifey Mira Kapoor.
Bollywood’s first ever non-alcoholic healthy birthday bash boasted of a menu of salads, healthy treats, guilt free desserts and detox shots. All this being the loving wifey’s conscious attempt to ensure that the party did not interfere with Shahid’s focused health regimen for playing Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in Padmavati. Now that is some love!
Apart from a healthy menu, Mira also made sure that the invitee list was an exhaustive one, featuring all of Shahid’s co-stars and friends from the fraternity. Eyeballs turned when Shahid’s ex-flame Sonakshi also featured on the list.
While Shahid Kapoor was dressed up casual, the host of the party, Mira Kapoor exuded a glamorous vibe.
Mira dressed up well for her hubby’s birthday bash looking absolutely stunning in a beige dress from Anita Dongre’s Alchemy collection. Stylist Anisha summed up her simple and elegant look with a pair of nude peeps from Sergio Rossi.
