Just as we were recovering from all those glitzy red carpet events, the India Beach Fashion Week happened.The third edition of this event which is one of Asia’s largest Beach Fashion Week was held at the prestigious Goa Marriott Resort & Spa from 20th to 22nd May. The beach location was absolutely perfect for the clothing galore of beach wear, resort wear, swim wear and destination bridal wear.

With the central theme of ‘Summer Dive’, the designers did not disappoint us as they left us breathless with their fascinating amalgamation of costumes, hair, makeup and accessories. And with the picturesque location of Goa, how can the beach style music and food not find a mention here!
Fashion shows are not only ruled by the talented designers and their gorgeous models but also by our Bollywood divas who go all out to support their designer friends. The IBFW also saw a bevy of our Bollywood celebrities who looked mesmerizing as they walked the ramp.
Along with the upcoming designers, IBFW also had veteran designers like Neeta Lulla, Varun Bahl, Falguni and Shane Peacock, etc. who wowed us with their exclusive collections.
‘Czarina of Indian Fashion’ as Neeta Lulla is aptly called, was the opening designer of this event. The location for the opening night was as classy as her designs. Held at the Museum of Goa, the event was well attended by various guests and dignitaries, but we of course had eyes only for her exquisite collection! Taking inspiration from Chinese flowers like Cherry Blossom and Osmanthus, Neeta’s collection was a splendid combination of love, romance, sensuality and femininity.

This is one of my favorite outfits from this collection. The entire outfit right from its silky material to the self-printed floral designs to the cut outs at the waist, just screams as FUN! The sleeveless palazzo styled outfit is ideal for an afternoon of fun and games at the beach with your girlies!
