Tanieya Khanuja

The designer kept it all white for this summer collection. She structured the fabric into midis, fringed tops and extravagant skirts and gowns. The neat cut outs revealing the right amount of skin at the right parts clicked well with the all-white style. Flickering in between was beige shade and the patterns were self-colored and hence the collection had a great elegance maintained all through.

Payal Khandwala

Spend some time here to understand the most creative and geometric collection displayed by the designer. With repeats, lines angles she created an intriguing concept that were tailored focusing on circles, triangles and parallelograms. Using textiles like cottons, linens, light weight silks, handcrafted brocades, she brought in a collection purely designed by artisans from Varanasi and Bengal who included motifs in gold and silver thread. Accessories also played a great part in her collection. Brass and leather were the materials in use for accessories that took form of rings, necklaces, earrings, nose pins, bangles and anklets.

Shivan And Narresh

‘Leger Leisure’ collection by the duo designers brought fun oriented beach and holiday outfits to the front. The artwork is thoroughly an inspiration from the French painter Fernand Leger’s cubist work. Bold colors were in play with romantic, glamorous beach wear with shimmer, glitter and brocades. Using fabrics like leather, neoprene, brocades and techno foils, the designers created wide range of garments from swimsuits to jumpsuits, palazzos, dresses, lehengas and many more. Masaba Gupta

The designer, who built her way up in the fashion province in a short span, exhibited a fusion of Indian and Western elements in the most remarkable way. Taking inspiration from Matthieu Venot, a French photographer and Katrin Bremermann, a German artist, she created a collection of their artworks with her firebrand prints. The collection had off shoulder tops, saris with tassels, ruffled blouses, out of structure blazers, dhoti skirts and angarkhas. The fabric she played with include natural crepes and coarse cottons on which she used the Ikkat patterns.
