And this week’s Bollywood look of the week goes to the leggy and slender Deepika Padukone at Life OK Screen Awards 2014. Dressed in an black Alexander McQueen gown with red hot lips and long gold earrings, she looked every bit the diva.
What Was The Outfit All About
The heavy gold detailing on the neckline and keyhole neckline gave a bold statement to the sombre black gown. This figure enhancing gown suited her silhouette beautifully and hugged the curves excellently. With a slightly upheaved hairdo and sleek straight hair, she could have done a better job with the hairstyle. But, she was spot on with the bold red hot lips which gave a definition to her whole attire and persona.
Deepika Padukone Vs Kate Hudson: Who wore it better?
Guess what, watching Deepika Padukone in this outfit was definitely a deja vu moment! We have seen this same gorgeous dress on Kate Hudson at last year’s Golden Globe Awards 2013. But Kate Hudson’s outfit has a flattering black and gold waistband which completed the look. This missing element from Ms. Padukone’s dress would have uplifted her look for the evening even much better.
Awards She Won
While Deepika Padukone was definitely one of the best dressed and glamorous ladies at the award night, she also took home lots of awards! She won the best actress trophy for her role in Ram Leela, which was supposed to be inspired by “Romeo and Juliet” and Chennai Express.

She danced with outstanding energy on the dance floor as she grooved to tunes from her own films in 2013. For the performance, she wore a lovely peach colored lehenga with sequin work and sheer blouse. With a chunky gajra in her hair and lots of bangles, she looked pretty and danced beautifully.

Sonakshi Sinha came as a complete surprise in her beige sheer gown with silver work and showed off her curves. She paired the outfit with a golden clutch, flaunted coral lips and her hair cascaded in gorgeous curls. We loved her look which comes as a whiff of fresh air considering her usual sartorial choices. Aditi Rao Hydari stunned us in her a la Audrey Hepburn avatar with her pixie crop, pearl drop earrings , pretty pink blush and red hot lips. Her blue satin Harsh Harsh gown complimented her figure and she paired it with black pumps.
Well, 2013 has been an interesting year for Deepika Padukone where she was in the constant limelight for her affairs.
