Carpet rolled, glam-cam’s on, high-beam lights flashed and out came our rock-stars, lighting the starless night with their sparkling appearances.
Let the carpet be red or green, this IIFA, most of our divas had ‘peace’ written all over in white. They spoke the monochrome dialect in different shades of cream, off-white or plain stark white.

Here is what they showcased:
Athiya Shetty
The stylish daughter of Sunil Shetty, geared up all white in a Bibhu Mohapatra pant suit. The high waist trousers, the crisp blazer and the mesh shirt sent out the 80’s vibes quite strongly. With hair brushed light and easy with perfect red matte lips, she looked as sweet as an icing on the cake.
Neha Dhupia
We would like to refer to Neha as the Queen of hair buns and over-sized clothes. And here again, she was spotted at the IIFA 2016 in an all white H&M skirt and shirt. The high waist skirt with its extravagant flare added volume and drama to the look. Smokey eyes, nude lips and high bun rounded her style. Looks like the diva has pampered herself with some sun bathing at Spain.
She was also spotted sporting Marks & Spencers separates. To the bland white theme, she added a neon yellow cape from Payal Khandwala, and took it a notch higher. With Bottega Veneta clutch and with similar makeup style she closed her look.
Shilpa Shetty
The curvaceous actress, Shilpa Shetty brought out a tanned and smoking hot look on the green carpet at IIFA 2016. The white Shantanu & Nikhil outfit with ample cut-outs brought the tanned sizzling look upfront.

Sayani Gupta
Sayani, though confused us with her choice of asymmetrical pearl embroidered gown, she looked magical in it. The sari style patterned outfit had a smooth finish and a very enticing neckline. To this gorgeous outfit, she added earrings from The Velvetcase.

Deepika Padukone
Deepika walked the green carpet dazzling in emeralds from Tanishq, that stole our hearts already. She adorned this jewel piece on a cream Sabyasachi heavily embellished cape outfit. She chose to keep her makeup on the stronger end and hence darkened her eyes, blushed her cheeks and looked jaw-dropping gorgeous.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi picked a lovely cream shade Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla fit and flare gown. She pulled off the sheer neckline, the heavily worked and the creamy flowy texture of the outfit gracefully. With striking red lips, and sleek bun, she rounded her style.
