She answered the judge’s question with elan and confidence – Dressed in a pure white gown, paired with turquoise ear-rings, she looked lovely with her dark eye-make up and glorious mane.
In the swimwear round, she rocked the audience with her animal print bikini, long copper colored earrings and simple bracelet. She paired the stunning two piece with a black sarong which made her look ravishing and fabulous.
In the talent round, she graced the beauty pageant floor with her Bharatnatyam and Bollywood dance in a ethnic Indian lehenga and choli. She looked lovely in the blue and red embellished lehenga worn in combination with glittery bangles, a chunky neck piece, ghunghroo, mang tikka, bindi and jhumkas.
The ultimate outfit of her collection was her canary yellow evening gown which she paired with long golden danglers and a intricate, broad bracelet.
Shocked, stunned and happy, she is proud of having surpassed cultural barriers and stands proud of her being an Indian-American to win the prestigious Miss America crown.
