So even if it’s a long day of work or a long night at a party, our poor feet fall victim to this situation. Hence, we have decided to show you how you can enjoy the liberty of pampering your feet in three steps.

So, here’s how you can do a good pedicure at home. But first, let’s talk about the things that you require.

You will need:

  • 2 Cups of orange or lemon or grapefruit
  • 2 Cups of warm water
  • Medium bowl
  • A pair of socks
  • A Plastic wrap
  • Whisk
  • 1/4 Cup of unscented lotion
  • ¼ Cup of olive oil

Once a week you can try the citrus feet soak to get rid of dry callous feet. Submerge your feet in a tub with two cups of orange or lemon or grapefruit. If you are feeling generous, you can use all these three combinations together. Add two cups of warm water and soak your feet in it for five whole minutes. The citric acid will get rid of the dead skin. You can also use a pumic stone on your heels to smoothen it out.

Next give a five minute massage to your feet to improve blood circulation and to relieve any tension in the blood circulation. Take your feet into your hands and keep your thumb on top and fingers on the bottom. Massage gently giving time to each foot. Finish off with light strokes and roll your feet to release any kind of stiffness.

Lastly, you can give your feet an olive oil wrap. Mix ¼ cup of olive oil and unscented lotion in a bowl. Warm it for 15 seconds. After that, apply the olive oil all over your feet focusing more on dry areas. Wrap your feet with a plastic wrap and put on socks on top of that. Keep it on at least an hour or leave it overnight to get smooth gorgeous feet.
