One word that defined Neerja Bhanot is “fearless”. The 23yr old Pan AM Air hostess sacrificed her being for rescuing hundreds of passengers who were on board a hijacked plane in 1986. The biopic Neerja, starring Sonam Kapoor, pays tribute to the lady who gathered courage from her fear.
The movie has been very well received by the Indian audiences having been able to touch the sensitive side of the audience and arousing a feeling of respect for Late Neerja Bhanot.
In order to celebrate this success story team Neerja addressed the Press speaking about the movie and it success followed by a typical Bollywood success bash at Bandra’s plush restaurant, Olive.
For Sonam Kapoor, this movie is surely a milestone in her career graph, having her prove her mettle as an actress. The fashionista never misses an opportunity to dress-up, and for moments like these she made sure she looked her best.
For the Press event, Sonam went Desi in a beautiful white floor-length Anarkali by Anamika Khanna. We have to admit we heart that red embroidered neckline which is the stand-out element in the otherwise subtle piece.
The Neerja girl paired the graceful silhouette with long intricate jhumkis that perfectly complimented her ethnic look.
Seems like a braided bun is Sonam’s current favourite, and to be honest, ours too.
The actress looked like a pretty Indian maiden with her tresses braided and done up neatly in a bun. For makeup, she opted for retro winged liner and a bright red pout in line with the red in her outfit.
Sonam completed this ethnic look with studded mojaris, elevating her Indian avatar a notch higher on our style-o-graph.

For the Olive bash, the girl stepped into a perfect spring summer evening look. The pale blue strapless wrap around gown from Salvatore Ferragamo’s SS16 collection, looked so serene and calm in this sultry weather.
Sonam showed off her bare broad shoulders in that strapless number accessorizing only with a pair of earrings.
Sonam completed her look with strappy black sandals and a black clutch.
After so much of hard work during the making of the blockbuster Sonam, finally let her hair down in cascading waves. We love how the overall pale look got an instant lift with that bright fuschia pout.
Rocking two completely different looks in a day, is something only a fashionista like her can do.
