Star Studded Filmfare Awards Lit Up The South Of Our Map

The 63rd Britannia Filmfare Awards (South) had our attention with the razzle-dazzle of the most noted stars of the South film industry. With the red carpet rolled out, stage all set and the night unfolding its fireworks, we couldn’t wait any longer to enjoy the fashion flare of the evening.

Amidst the anxiety set by the heavy competition in the nominations, we were lost in the beauty of the divas.

Here are a few who have exhibited their style:

Tamannaah Bhatia

Tamannaah picked a Jean Louis Sabaji hand painted ball gown for the evening. Just like a fresh cotton, she glided down the carpet looking angelic. Anisha Jain, the stylist chose to keep her accessories zero, as the gown itself had a lot to decipher. Hair pinned ruffled up into a bun by Madhuri Nakhale, she closed the look with light coral lips, smokey eyes and smooth tones of makeup by Chandini Mohindra.

Rakul Preet Singh

Elucidating her beauty and exemplifying elegance, Rakul joined the star studded event in a gold embellished Tarun Tahiliani outfit. It was a golden moment altogether with gold eye shadow and well blended bronze hues. To the ensemble, she added regal jewelry from Ghanasingh Be True collection. Pinning her tresses into a neat low bun, she rounded her look.

Regina Cassandra

Regina fit her hour glass figurine comfortably in a blue Shriya Som outfit for the evening. The mermaid style outfit and the sleek wet hair look gives us a vibe that this lady swam her way onto the red carpet. The outfit had too much going on that she didn’t need to accessorize it. Regina chose to leave it to Indrakshi, her stylist on giving her the wondrous looks. With blue tinged eye makeup, very mellow lip hue, she rounded her look gracefully.

Raashi Khanna

The pretty, beautifully toned Raashi slid perfectly into a Gauri & Nanika outfit. The one-shouldered outfit, its ruffles along the shoulder line and the flare of the outfit from the knees, suggest the typical Gauri & Nanika cuts. With diamond solitaires from Kirtilals and a box clutch from Anandita, she looked pleasing. While a gown of such magnificence would be coupled with hair let down, Raashi opted to pull her hair into a pony and complete the style.

Pragya Jaiswal

Looking quite bold and bright was Pragya in a Shantanu & Nikhil ball gown. The asymmetrical pleats and ruffles, patterned work on the shoulders were the catchy pieces of the outfit. In jade jewelry from Ghanasingh Be True collection, she sparkled like a jewel. Unlike others, Geetika Chadha, her stylist chose to leave her lovely tresses in perfect waves to one side, grabbing everyone’s attention on to the lovely cut on the back.

Nayantara

The versatile, multi-talented actress, Nayantara, made a grand appearance, dressed in a Mint Blush all black outfit. The dress was perfectly tailored to fit her slender mien and it had a crispness that added the elegance part to it. Suhani Pittie jewelry found their way onto the actress. Interesting were the ear climbers! Curling her hair nice and easy, she rounded her look naturally. She played a bit of contrast theme with blue and black stilettoes.
