1. Drink Plenty Of Water

Water is important to wash away the toxins and the waste in our bodies, which is why at least eight to ten glasses of sparkling water should be drunk. 2. Cleansing Techniques
Are you using the right cleansing technique, twice a day? Cleansing is important for the skin since it helps do away with dead skin cells, dirt and grime, and the onslaught of the UV rays of the sun and free radicals too. One must choose a mild cleanser for the skin, which should be applied twice a day with cotton. Use side strokes for the forehead, circular and upward strokes for the cheeks and upward strokes for the neck. The same will help with blood circulation and oil generation on the skin.
3. Toning Is A Must
Always use a herbal toner for the face or DIY one with a few mint leaves placed in cold water, to apply. When toning the skin, use a clean cotton ball to dab and not rub, onto the skin. 6. Exfoliate Once Every Fortnight
A cup of oatmeal and a tablespoon of honey with milk each, when mixed together forms an excellent exfoliating face pack. Apply the scrub over your face and wait for a minute to allow the dryness to set in. Soak your fingers in cold water and then gently rub the facial zone and the neck, allowing the coarse face pack to remove dead skin cells, dirt and grime. Once every fortnight would help allow the skin to revitalize and bounce back to life.
7. Use Face Mask
To avoid patchy and flaky skin from happening use a tablespoon of brown sugar, mixed with a teaspoon of coconut oil and apply onto the skin. Leave it for ten minutes and then wash off with cold water. Do this thrice a week to balance the pH levels of the skin and to enhance oil secretion. For the final rinse, we would advise using cold rose water to wash off and to help the skin with more antioxidants to keep it safe.
