So it’s actually a myth that short skirt go with lower heels and indeed sometimes the shorter the skirt the higher the heel and viceversa. I read it as sort of compensation and not going too “sexy”, but imho if you don’t like high heels, you can wear slingbacks or mules, as they look higher than pumps.
