Best Dressed at Annual SAG awards 2018

Annual SAG awards 2018

When the women united for a cause, by donning black they raised huge amounts to be extended for the Time’s Up initiative. But the ladies kept the theme aside for the 24th Annual SAG awards and we got to see loads of sexy, and sheer and pinks and reds, and feathers and glares. While the SAG Awards celebrated the best of acting in 2017, the red carpet celebrated new fashion trends of 2018. Like always, we bring to you the best picks straight from the event.

Millie Bobby Brown

We can tell that the little missy is growing up to be quite the fashionista, as Millie Bobby Brown starts our list of best dressed celebs from the SAG. She was stylishly age appropriate in a high-low Calvin Klein halter dress that was paired with white Converse. But wait, there’s more. Millie completed her playful look with two adorable mini buns and a natural pink lip-gloss.

Dakota Fanning

This 23 year old arrived looking like a total dream in this strapless nude gown adorned with rhinestone beading all along the edges. The glitz of her stunning Prada gown found compliment in the bling by Fred Leighton jewels. We love that she kept the make-up dewy and piled up her tresses in a high bun.

Margot Robbie

Next on our list is this Australian actress who slayed the carpet in a feathered Miu Miu gown embellished with beads detailing. The pale dress was paired with Aquazzura heels; and a Jimmy Choo clutch with jewels by Tiffany & Co rounded off the look. The make-up was concentrated on the eyes while the lips were kept nude. The blond lob framed her face well.

Dascha Polanco

Looking like an ethereal goddess, Dascha walked the red carpet to SAG awards in this Champaign hued gown with silver embellishment running criss-cross across the skirt of the beaded halter gown. We can’t emphasis enough how gorgeous she looks in her mermaid hair-do.

Mandy Moore

Mandy Moore finally brought in some color to the evening and this simple blue gown looks electrifying on her. The Ralph Lauren number had a shimmer to the texture of it shutting down any need for accessories and we are glad Mandy didn’t crown her look either. She, however, leaves us with one vital question: does this girl even age?

Reese Witherspoon

Another ageless beauty on this list is the evergreen and so vivacious Reese Witherspoon who showed us how to doll up in green for an evening like this. Her Zac Posen dress was matched with heels by Jimmy Choo. To accessorize for the awards night, Reese picked a Tyler Ellis clutch and diamonds and emerald jewels by Gismondi.

Nicole Kidman

It is never a dull moment with this timeless beauty. Glistening for the evening, the Big Little Lies actress was seen flaunting an Armani Privè gown. With absolutely no skin show, Nicole managed to draw all the attention on her and we do give a big share of the credit to the Harry Winston jewels she picked. The simple make-up with bright red lip did the trick for her.

Yara Shahidi

Girlfriend seems to be making one killer appearance after another and takes the number one spot yet again in her sleek Ralph Lauren Collection jumpsuit. Her attire with an endless trail was given a value-add with Tiffany & Co. jewels. Voluminous hair paired with dark berry lipstick made for that dramatic look we associate this Grownish star with.

Kristen Bell

Last but not least on our list is the show’s first ever host, Kristen Bell. The ace actress walked in proud in her strapless magenta gown by J. Mendel dress. The look was rounded off with shoes by Charlotte Olympia and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
