This year’s Billboard Music Awards kicked off in style this Sunday night, and though everyone’s talking about — Salt-N-Pepa! Janet Jackson! That flamingo! — we know you are interested in the fashion statements that rocked the red carpet.
The music industry always succeeds in bringing out the most innovative moments of fashion on the red carpet and the Billboards Music Awards 2018 was no different. Now that we have already seen the iconic looks from the Grammys and the VMAs, we were not totally sure if there was anything new this mega music event had to offer, and let us tell you – we were pleasantly surprised.

1. Jennifer Lopez:
The queen arrived in a burgundy neck-plunging Roberto Cavalli dress crafted out of leather and velvet. What caught our lens was the matching bra. Her over-the-knee boots were paired perfectly with her bold outfit. She picked AS29 earrings to accessorize just right.
2. Taylor Swift:
After MIA for the longest time, Tay Tay is finally back and we are loving it. For BBMAs red carpet, the diva arrived dressed in a single-shoulder Atelier Versace gown. The rose-colored velvet outfit had embellishments all over and feather details too. Her messy bun had our heart entangled. The bold lipstick definitely matched her mood.
3. Camila Cabello:
The ex-member of the famous girl band “Fifth Harmony” has already turned into a solo star. She arrived in style in a black and white Givenchy gown. The monochrome dress looked too simple for the red carpet initially but its fringes details definitely upped its glamour quotient. The look was rounded up with Chopard jewelry.
4. Hailey Baldwin:
The model and short-term girlfriend of Justin Beiber was spotted in an Alexandre Vauthier shimmering gown. The twisted waist was reminiscent of JLo’s famous green Grammy dress. Jimmy Choo sandals played a subtle part in nailing her Greek Goddess look.
5. Janet Jackson:
After her long hiatus from the world of glamour, she is finally back with a bang and we are loving it. We saw her wearing a mint green tulle skirt from Rami Kadi. She paired it up with a white t-shirt. She used a brown leather belt to cinch her waist and added chunky gold jewelry to complete her look.
6. Kesha:
The singer looked dramatic in a beaded outfit. The floral fringed kimono coupled with cowboy boots and hat made her look unique.
7. Demi Lovato:
The evening saw the songstress make a stunning appearance in a sheer Dior gown. We are still debating if we are more impressed with the animal print or the side-slit it featured.
9. Ciara:
A shimmering gown by Julien MacDonald is what Ciara picked for the evening. The naked dress with a risqué thigh-high slit, definitely raised the mercury that night. Le Silla sandals went perfectly with the ensemble.
10. Mila Kunis:
The actress was seen in a new avatar as she donned a crystal-embellished miniskirt by David Koma. She paired it perfectly with a cutout black top. The make-up was simple and fresh. Her blunt bangs definitely caught our attention.
