After the successful and mind blowing collections showcased on the first two days of the fashion week, Day 3 & 4 were not far behind in keeping us enthralled with the designs. All the fashion maniacs were on a high and the designs had all attention grabbed.
Showing us that simple is the key trend for this season, the last two days of the Amazon Fashion Week was a treat to the eyes backed by amusing styling and embroideries.

DAY 3
Highlights from Day 3 At The Amazon Fashion Week 2017 that are not worth missing out on.
KASHA by Karishma Shahani Khan
Bold colours and breezy outfits are the trend for this season and Karishma Shahani Khan’s collection is a testament to that. The outfits were all colours of bright while keeping the basic idea of the outfit simple. All the bright coloured outfits having a pinch of white to them gave a laid back yet stylish outlook.
Silhouettes ranged from gowns to trench coats to jackets to full fledged outfits infused with bold patterns that cannot be avoided to grab the shutterbugs. The entire collection instilled an era of playfulness coping with the current trends.
Neelambar by Anju Modi
Single coloured outfits was the spell that Anju Modi cast this season. Mesmerizing the audience with the elegant ethnic wear that puts the colour contrast theme to shame, this designer’s collection was inspired with architecture detailing.
Models walked the ramp with traditional ivory, gold and dark blue outfits rounding off their looks with footwear from Needledust and accessories by Roma Narsinghani giving the perfect finishing touch. Actress Sakshi Tanwar took the ramp by storm as the showstopper with her confidence.
The Egon Series by Shivan & Narresh
This Delhi duo, put up a collection and your closet would definitely feel incomplete without any of their outfits. The perfect ensemble for a destination holiday or wedding is what this collection calls for. Ranging from swimsuit-like outfits to unique gorgeous draped saris, their imagination is sure to cross boundaries.
Their outfits tell stories on strong colour portraying the cape fashion in a manner that it extends to the beach trend outfits too.
They also showcased two new elements as part of their collection, namely the flute lehenga and Velvetrene. The ideal backdrop chosen to showcase their work was perfect complementing their opulent skein work.

Get Down by Namrata Joshipura
The Get Down collection was showcased in mostly dark and sober colours with a touch of style. In collaboration with Maybelline New York, the designer presented outfits ranging from sporty separates to drool worthy gowns.
The lush fabrics and sequins were a steal, and Alia Bhatt brought the show to a close in a ravishing sequined emerald outfit.
Schulen Fernandes For Wendell Rodricks
Coordinating with Wendell’s geometric patterns, Schulen Fernandes’ second collection was an ode to the rose in a cubist avatar. The runway was filled with elegant fabrics in loud patterns and colours, shining their way into the fashion world.
Ranging from slit dresses, flowy gowns to trendy sari styles, fierce colours dominated the colour palette with light rose gold and silvers aptly completing the collection.

DAY 4
Day 4, the final climax to the fashion week was just as interesting. Here are the highlights :
Ilk by Shikha Grover and Vinita Adhikari
The Ilk collection proved that “more is less” in the most laidback and elegant manner. In dull colours and seasonal shades donned onto the silhouettes, the dresses were perfect to pull off a sophisticated look.
Dainty floral embroidery accentuated the colour combination keeping this Delhi based duo designers at the top of our to buy list.
H&M Conscious Exclusive Collection
The H&M collection focused on sustainable fashion from basic everyday outfit to red carpet worthy outfits. The outfits were all produced out of yarn and recycled materials putting out a message in the fashion world. The point was to try and use more environment friendly materials.
Tarun Tahiliani & Amit Aggarwal
The Fashion Week came to an end with a showcase by renowned designers Tarun Tahiliani and Amit Aggarwal of their interpretations on “Fresh New Look” concept.
Amit Aggarwal’s collection mostly was based on Benarasi brocades and Patola saris for the environmentally conscious woman. Whereas Tarun Tahiliani’s collection focused on armory-inspired art. Both the fused collections were elegant modern outfits for the current age woman.
Looking forward to the next Amazon Fashion Week, just as eagerly. Your closets might need a revamp after these four days of consuming fashion.
