Kaaisha by Shalini:
Designer Shalini showcased her collection Kaaisha on the Season 11 of India Runway Week. Actress Shazahn Padamsee was the showstopper for the show.
RIG Clothing:
A welcome surprise was the RIG Clothing. The most out-there designs of this utility brand were of course the casual wear inspired by sports and travel. Spread over cargoes, shorts, shirts, in elements of durability-it was unequivocally neat.
Varija Bajaj, Apoorva Mahajan:
Actress Rashmi Desai walked the ramp for designers Varija Bajaj and Apoorva Mahajan in a wine hued ensemble.
LA –Styliste by Purvi Roy:
Singer Shibani Kashyap made quite an entrance at the ramp for La-Stylist in a black number.
Manua by Masni Singhal:
Meanwhile designer Masni Singhal was true to her simplistic deluxe design. Her collection Manua ran the gamut in fresh water embroidery and color blocked aesthetics.
Day 3 Highlights:
Here are all the highlights from Day 3 of India Runway Week:
The Student Show by Vidya Institute of Fashion & Technology:
The show opened with a Student Show by Vidya Institute of Fashion & Technology. These young designers did exceedingly well with their handmade and playful designs. Their dream work collaboration shows their teamwork indeed.
Rana’s by Kshitija:
Designer Kshitija’s work Rana sits at the junction of rural Indian woman. Her pieces showcase ethnic materials like jewellery, sequins, and even the special neon lights.
Sushmita:
Sushmita’s collection is unconventional, modern, and unique (and we love it).
Saaj by Ankita:
Designer Ankita unleashed her collection Saaj at the finale of India Runway Week. The collection captures her Bohemian fantasy and offers a touch of urban Indian woman. Her work offers a mix of modern-girl aesthetics and Victorian frills.
Raegun by Kamran Patel:
There was specialness about designer Kamran Patel’s new collection Raegun because of the way he produced the raw clothes. It is durable in its own way, but graphic on impact.
Nitya Bajaj:
The designer’s newest label made her show such a treat to watch. What stood out in her particular collection were the fun details that made strong statements with silhouettes and color.
Cantabil:
The show opened with a vision of modern emphasized tailoring. The models came strutting down the runway with designs that were quite grown-up in execution.
Grand Finale- Anjalee & Arjun Kapoor:
The show finally ended with a show from designers Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor. Their designs speaks volumes about the vast exploration of quiet handwork all presented in a beautifully palette of earthy tones. This is a nudge forward collection from the designer duo.
Finally the India Runway Week 2019 came to a glam end. Hope you enjoyed seeing it all!
