#1 Baking Soda

When it comes to grooming your hair by yourself, too much of good things can spoil your hair. So, be careful in creating your hair care regime. Cleaning your hair with baking soda can remove the gunk out of your hair. Use 1 tablespoon of baking soda while shampooing. Apart from removing all sorts of chemicals, it also washes away impurities, thereby lightening your hair.

Put some life into the dying luster of your hair with some flat beer. Mix 3 tablespoons of bear in 1/2 cup of warm water. After shampooing your hair, rub in the solution and let is sit for few minutes and then rinse it off. #3 Butter

#5 Mayonnaise

Apply mayo to your hair and scalp and massage gently. Now cover your head with shower cap. Wait for 15 minutes and then shampoo. The mayonnaise moisturizes the hair, thereby giving it a lustrous sheen.

Olive oil works best for dry and brittle hair like no other oil. Heat slightly 1/2 cup of olive oil and apply it your hair. Use your fingers to allow the oil gently absorb into the roots. Now cover your head with a plastic bag and wrap it with a hot towel. Let this stay for 45 minutes and then have a thorough rinse. The best way to apply is to dab cotton in oil and apply it to the roots.

#7 Tea

Tea also works as a natural shiner for your hair. Use a quart of warm tea (only tea powder) and use it as a final rinse after regular shampoo.

Vinegar is a superb hair conditioner. Mix 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 egg whites. Apply this mixture into your hair and cover your head for half an hour and then rinse off.

#9 Lemons

If you have gone for blond highlights then you’re supposed to visit some of the best spas in your city to groom them. Right? Actually, it’s not required if you can follow this tip #9. Add 1/4 cup lemon juice to 3/4 cup water and rinse your hair with the mixture. Then sit in the sun until your hair dries. Lemon juice is a natural bleach.

If your swimming pool contains chlorinated water then it can lighten your hair. Dissolve 6-8 aspirins in a glass of warm water and rub this solution into your hair. let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse off. Aspirin helps retain the original shade of your hair.
