Abu Jaani Sandeep Khosla Started The Indian Bridal Fashion Week 2015

Last two weeks have been very busy for team FashionLady. We have been jumping from one event to another, covering them and giving out all the details of these events. It started with the Amazon India Couture Week or Indian Couture Week where designers killed us with their presentations.

Then, we barely got two days when the India International Jewellery Week started and day after day, we gave you all updates about the event.

Now, the BMW Indian Bridal Fashion Week has started and we are literally on a whirlwind romance with the designers.

Kick starting the event was the fantastic designer duo Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla.

This time, they literally went above and beyond and presented designs like never before. Their showstopper, Sonam Kapoor killed us in her gorgeous Varanasi bridal look.

Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla’s collection was titled The Varanasi Collection and was themed around history, art and crafts. Their main aim was to capture the culture, show the world how rich and deep Varanasi’s traditions run, and present us with a collection that we won’t forget for a very long time.

We think this bridal lehenga will be perfect for your wedding. Why? Because it is so heavy, that you can minimize everything else and let the outfit do the talking. However, we do know that the bridal make up is not so fierce and sharp and hence, we can’t wait to see this lehenga on an real bride! What about you guys?

Now, this look is total badass!! Can brides pull it off on their reception? We think they can!! A dreamy braid and soft makeup should do the trick.
