As much as we enjoy the rains, the monsoon greys are known for the melancholy that sets in with these downpours.
While we can’t do anything about the rains, we can most certainly give our souls some needed lift by dressing up for the season.
Who better would know this than our a-list celebrities from B-town.
Be it rains be it snow, there’s never a dull moment in the fashion scenes of our bollywood stylistas.
As we went about exploring their recent appearances, a hearty color palette boasting of stunning bright colors caught all our attention. Looks like distinct neons is the key to a head turning monsoon look, this season.

Aditi Rao Hydari
The blue-blood actress simply wowed us with her halter back neon green gown from the house of designer Swapnil Shinde, at the recently held IIFA awards. We are all hearts for this refreshing tone of green. Just like a downpour renders freshness to the air, this bright shade is sure to render all that brightness to your gloomy day. Special credits to stylist Sanam Ratansi for aptly pairing the bright escapade with a pair of dark green fringed earrings from Deepa Gurnani. Simple yet ecstatic.
Disha Patani
Another Swapnil Shinde piece that can brighten up a dull rainy day, was the one spotted on actress Disha Patani. Wearing a pretty mango yellow number, Dhini fame, Disha Patani gave us a dose of sunshine amidst the greys. Stylist, Tanya Ghavri styled up this IIFA 2017 look, with a pair of heels from the Label Life and long earrings from Minerali store. Dazzling the green carpet in this Swapnil Shinde number, Mira gave us all the inspiration to beat those monsoon blues. Stylist Sanam Ratansi works her magic again keeping Mira’s look simple yet engaging. Her tresses flowing on one shoulder and a pair of earring rendered all the subtle sensuousness to this glamorous, rain perfect appearance.
Neha Dhupia
With the world being her runway, one lady from Bollywood, who dresses to impress is Neha Dhupia. Never a casual okayish moment in this fashionista’s life. While touring the streets of NYC, Neha gave us the most perfect outfit to combat the monsoon lull. In a pretty yellow wrap around dress from Marks and Spencers, Neha beautifully synced her free-spirited meets fashionista vibe. The green handbag from Tod’s played perfect contrast to her holiday look. A great look put up there by the diva herself.

Vaani Kapoor
Befikre fame, Vaani Kapoor decked up in a bright sultry orange gown for the Elle India Official X Longchamps event. Vaani looked fiercely chic in the one shoulder ensemble from designer label Lola By Suman B. The sizzling number can play a befitting reminder of the scorching summer amidst a cloudy weather. This slayer performance was directed by stylist Sujala Newar who pulled off this no accessory and almost no makeup look with much panache. We suggest replicate the look to create a steamy monsoon appearance.
Kriti Kharbanda
Kriti Kharbanda gave us a refreshing vibe at an event in Dubai. Kriti grabbed all the spotlight at the event donning a bright tone of leaf green. The one shoulder dress from Madison On Peddar looked every inch cute. The short length coupled with layers of ruffles made for a pretty and appropriate choice for the monsoons. The messy ponytail rendered by hairstylist Harry Rajput raised the adorable quotient further. Stylist Anisha Gandhi sealed the look with a pair of nude peeps from Steve Madden.
Shraddha Kapoor
For the trailer launch of Haseena Parkar, Shraddha decked up the glossy way in a bright magenta blouse and trouser set. The one shoulder blouse flaunted flapped pockets and a puffed sleeve for adding dramatic accents to the ensemble. Paired with fitted pants, the ensemble from designer Atsu Sekhose is fireworks. With everything spelling OTT, an outfit like this is like a 440 volt bulb in a room of greys. Ace stylist Shaleena Nathani added more stars by pairing the outfit with pretty ear pieces.
Kriti Sanon
Beating blues just right was actress Kriti Sanon while attending the IIFA press conference. This electric blue number from Amit Aggarwal could be your go to number for all those parties filled with glamour. The organza ruffles at the end amped up the electricity causing it to soar high on the bold and beautiful radar. Stylist Sukriti Grover was behind Kriti’s flaming appearance. Styled with jewellery pieces from Aurelle by Leshna Shah and Outhouse Jewellery. Pulling back her tresses in a ponytail added more wowness to her presence.
