We are half way through the year 2017 and we believe that a quick style check on our favorite celebrities would be fun, to begin with. Till date, we have seen great, inspiring styles of B-town ladies and tried to mimic every bit of it but we have to admit that we did come across few fashion disasters.
So ladies brace yourself because through this article we bring to the all the divas who wronged the fashion with sore choices.
Kangana Ranaut
At the very start of the year 2017, Kangana was spotted making an appearance at Sonu Sood’s party. She picked satin Paule Ka dress in shocking pink with plunging neckline. While we were disappointed with the fit of the dress on the diva, the red satin bow around the waist made her look even more bright and tawdry. She added sleek red Louis Vuitton heels and completed her style. While that was about the apparel, the makeup and hair didn’t go well either. She went with a makeup shade lower than her complexion and hence looked pale and lifeless. The diva surely could have done better!
Priyanka Chopra
With her appearance at Met Gala 2017, Priyanka Chopra surely attracted great criticism from her fans and fashion experts. She graced the ceremony in a beige trench coat dress by Ralph Lauren and puzzled us with the silhouette of the outfit in play. The gown with high collar and the long train, the thigh-high slit turned out to be an unfortunate fashion choice. As much as the color was a turn-off, equally unflattering were her sleek high hair bun and dark intense look.
Kareena Kapoor
Least did we expect to find Kareena Kapoor making a wrong fashion choice but it’s true, even Bebo missed to strike a style. At the BBC Earth launch, the diva was captured in a pastel blue off-shoulder, plunging neckline gown by Nikhil Thampi. The outfit lacked the spark and the Nirav Modi Jewels that the diva added blended right into the dull shade. Severe hair and striking lips definitely didn’t play along well with the outfit. That’s one bad miss of style by Bebo.
Deepika Padukone
It’s not easy to walk in style, clad in brands from head-to-toe waving at the paparazzi. Though Deepika has often done an excellent job at handling such moments, she did stumble upon the fashion line and we caught her on our radar.
For the premiere of her international film XXX: Return of Xander Cage, she went all shimmer in a Naeem Khan outfit. The outfit was blaring and the blend of plunging neckline and the nearly backless pattern was a mismatch. Striking lips or hair left loose and straight would’ve balanced the drama of the outfit.
For the same event, the premiere of her international flick, she rolled out a black pantsuit from Johanna Ortiz label. A regular pantsuit would have kept her look classy but the plunging neckline, bell sleeves and peplum style top were a turn off in this style of the diva.
For the Chanel Pre-Oscar dinner, she sported a floral dress by Duro Olowu. With too many colors taking the space with her outfit, we felt the style was a bit overwhelming. A plain ankle strap heels in solid color could have made the look click but by adding fancy Louboutin heels, she broke the style royally.
Anushka Sharma
Going the athleisure style for the movie promotions was totally unexpected off Anushka Sharma. The Vizyon separates that she sported for one of the promotional events didn’t quite create an impressive impact. Adidas white sneakers added the casual, street style look to the diva. That color blend and the irrelevant style couldn’t win our heart.

One more disaster that the diva took part in was at the Khidkiyan theater festival. She was photographed in a Bershka top and asymmetric Sonaakshi Raaj frayed jeans. While on one end the camisole pattern on the top was annoying, a mismatch Stradivarius flats on the other end was uncalled for.
Shraddha Kapoor
Shraddha who does stunning mini dress styles went off the line at one of the promotional events. She dressed up in a blue over blue Zayan’s namesake separates. The lace sneaking out from the slit near the calves and near the strap of the top wasn’t very endearing. Equally off-beat were the Ferragamo fur sandals.
Athiya Shetty
Recently Athiya Shetty was seen actively taking part in the promotion of her upcoming film, Mubarakan. During one of these events, she made a sore fashion choice and we caught it right away. She did stripes separate style from Doodlage and we weren’t impressed. The haphazard stripe patterns was a bit tacky and non-welcoming. The only best part of the look was the tan oxfords from Aldo.
Malaika Arora
At the inauguration of a beauty show, Malaika was spotted in a confusing outfit from Abraham & Thakore. The style was elaborated as pre-stitched sari with cropped jacket by the designer and we wonder how. That was one hell of a risk in the world of fashion and we wish the diva didn’t take up the challenge.
Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi’s all black style for an ad shoot was a fashion disaster. She picked Nishka Lulla separates which didn’t look like a complete piece together. The Outhouse choker that she added to spark up the look didn’t quite get along with the outfit.
Sonam Kapoor
Though Sonam Kapoor is often referred to as fashionista of B-town, we can’t dismiss the fact that even Sonam could go wrong with her fashion choices.
She failed her fashion sense during one of the airport appearances. She picked a bright, floral maxi dress from Payal Pratap and paired it with a sheer white top. This look was too tough to pass the fashion police.
At the Chandon Party Starter bash, Sonam Kapoor was seen in a black ruffle jumpsuit with plunging neckline by Rasario. The plunging neckline and the skin show didn’t look great on her. The cropped ankle length of the jumpsuit threw the balance of proportions out of the fashion window. It was a style we wish the diva never experimented again.
