It has been 13 years since Manish Malhotra set his foot in the fashion and film industry, and the renowned designer chose to celebrate this grand occasion by presenting one of his collection at the fashion show at JW Marriot, Mumbai. He presented to his audience and his admirers from both the film and fashion industry, his latest collection called Zween.
The Arabic word Zween translates into beautiful and spectacular thus speaking all about his collection. After 6 years of hiatus, Manish Malhotra chose to do a solo show in Mumbai and oh my! The beauty of the show carved deep into our minds and hearts.
The Tiger Zinda Hai co-stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif walked the ramp for the designer and turned the show into a celestial and whimsical gathering.
Katrina And Salman Make A Statement – Unbeatable:
On asking his reason to pick Katrina and Salman as his showstoppers, the designer said – “While they have established themselves as great superstars, they are both humble and exude a subtle elegance, which reflects in their fashion choices. Speaking of being opposites, while Katrina embodies the soft femininity and grace, Salman has always been a man of free will with his rugged charm and elan.”

Katrina Kaif:
In a brown-hued lehenga with silver detailing spread all across the outfit and with a sequined blouse, Katrina Kaif walked the ramp for the designer looking like a goddess of beauty and elegance. We have to admit that Katrina just made the least preferred choice of color, brown, absolutely irresistible. With her long tresses rolling down in soft curls along her shoulders, she was purely divine.

Madhuri Dixit:
One among the many who dazzled in the designer’s sarees was Madhuri Dixit. In a pastel-colored sari that sparkled with the beaded hemline, Madhuri glittered like a jewel. Love the fusion of subtlety with the satin blouse!
Sangeeta Bijilani:
It was bright pink satin sari for Sangeeta to the Manish Malhotra show. Adorning jewelry pieces from Anmol Jewellers, she gleamed like a moonbeam. With wavy hair and blush-toned makeup, she was a charmer.
Janhvi Kapoor:
The Dhadak diva, Janhvi Kapoor graced the Manish Malhotra show looking fancy in a sea blue lehenga. Looks like the diva opted for a bolder choice for this occasion and she faired it well. The interesting sequined blouse was the killer feature of the style and the diva carried it with stunning grace.
Khushi Kapoor:
Much bolder than her sister was Khushi Kapoor in a sequined body-con nearly sheer Manish Malhotra ensemble. As much as the outfit added glitter to the screen, the twinkle in her eyes shone brighter.
Kriti Kharbanda:
It was tulle gown in beige for Kriti Kharbanda at the Manish Malhotra Couture. Since the outfit had numerous pleats, the minimal beading along the bust was all that the outfit needed to click. With her hair soft and straight, glowing makeup, Kriti was a delightful sight.

Athiya Shetty:
Athiya Shetty was one among the young faces of b-town who turned up at the designer’s show. The young diva picked a blush-toned tiered skirt and coupled it with silver beaded cut-out shoulder crop top. Elegant, simple and a tad bit trendy was the diva’s style and we loved the fusion immensely.
Sara Ali Khan:
Like every other diva, Sara Ali Khan opted for a lehenga choli style by the designer, Manish Malhotra but the unique pattern of the corset top set her style apart. Although a newbie to the glamour world, Sara did an excellent job in carrying this unique style with utmost grace and beauty.
Bhumi Pednekar:
In a flowing plain hued, layered skirt, embroidered blouse and sheer dupatta with rich embroidery, Bhumi Pednekar was spotted at the Manish Malhotra show. Adorning Raniwala Jewellers baubles, she gleamed radiantly at the show. Looks like the diva had an injury and we wish her a speedy recovery.
Tanishaa Mukerji:
Tanishaa dressed up pretty for the Manish Malhotra show in a sheer sari with rich floral embroidery. Absolutely love the beaded strapless blouse! With jewelry from Azotiique, she looked grand and lovely.
Mouni Roy:
Swaying different from the styles of the B-town divas was Mouni Roy. She opted for a sheer embroidered outfit and wore it with a body-con short dress in contrasting shade underneath. A Dior cutesy handbag and a stiff up-do rounded her style.
Sonal Chauhan:
Sonal was spotted in a satin sari, which she beautifully coupled with a strapless contrast embroidered blouse. She brought her fringe pallu hemline to focus. With sparkling jewels by PNG Jewellers, she was radiant and polished.
Lara Dutta
Lara Dutta also graced the event but in a modern chic looking body-con cutout shoulder dress by Manish Malhotra. Adding Sophie Webster shoes and Jimmy Choo metallic clutch, she rounded her style grandly.
Other celebs who were seen in attendance to the show were Iulia Vantur, Kim Sharma and Daisy Shah.
