Asmita Marwa
Hyderabad based designer Asmita Marwa introduced her ‘Sustainable Collection’ on the final day of the IBFW 2016. Her predominant color palettes were red, white and black. For Asmita, sustainability is the crux and essence of her label. She believes in reinventing and re-interpreting the sustainability concept.
We are definitely intrigued with her vision and inspiration and we love how she has inculcated them in her designs. Her idea of adding separates to continue the evolution of a concept or design language was well executed in her works. They look absolutely summer ready and those unique styles are guaranteed to make heads turn your way. Have a glance at some of her designs below.
Sukriti And Akriti
White, yellow, fiery orange, cinnamon – you name it and they had it. Sukriti and Aakriti’s collection was equivalent to watching a sunset. If you are a bold bride and you do not shy from taking the unconventional route, then this collection is definitely for you! Their designs are ideal for the contemporary boho brides.
Taking the sunset palette as their inspiration, their collection includes shararas, lehangas in organic cotton with bikini blouses, ghaghras and asymmetric shirts. Their designs look quite easy to wear and are perfect for a beach wedding. Twirling around in one of their designs was celebrity Divya Khosla who was the showstopper for their collection. She wowed us all in a cinnamon colored blouse and a yellow lehanga which had some beautiful cinnamon colored motifs. Divya truly embodied the boho bride look. Take a look at some of their designs and start thinking of becoming that boho bride!
