With the fashion bar set as high as the sky by ace designer Neeta Lulla on Day 0 of the India Beach Fashion Week 2016, the other designers had their work cut out for them. But we were just floored by the amazing collections displayed on Day 1. With around 10 designers showcasing their collections, the ramp was definitely set on fire by the gorgeous models who strutted out in beautiful beachwear and traditional wear.

Anupamaa Dayal
Keeping the theme of IBFW 2016 ‘Summer Dive’ in mind, Anupamaa’s collection titled ‘Madhumalati’ had an amazing array of traditional wear in beautiful colors. Her entire collection was inspired by the delicate summer blossoms and the seductive fragrances of dainty pink flowers growing on sturdy vines.
The collection is also an epitome of the ‘nautch girl’ who has a magnetic seductive aura. Aupamaa’s collection has beautifully incorporated the elegance, dignity and free-spirited elements that are synonymous with the ‘nautch girl’. The models not only walked the ramp, but they also swirled and twirled around captivating the audience’s attention. The mesmerizing opening performance by super model Deepti set the path for the other models. Check out some of the images from her collection!
Mayyur Girotra
Mayyur Girotra stunned us all by presenting his unique collection inspired by ‘Relationship Goals’. His designs were dominated by the presence of black and white. The audiences were surely dazzled by the monochrome effect brought on as the models paraded down the ramp in one amazing outfit after another.

Mayyur’s collection comprised of crop tops, swimsuits, off shoulder dresses and gowns. Each and every dress had beautiful cut work in contrasting colors. All the outfits looked easy to wear and perfect to pose in. Bollywood actress, Tanishaa Mukerji was the showstopper for his collection and she looked gorgeous in a white off shoulder asymmetrical dress which had a black border of floral motifs. With a sheer cape with black floral motifs over her shoulders, she did complete justice to his outfit. Take a look at his collection below!

Falguni And Shane Peacock
The brand Falguni and Shane Peacock needs no introduction as they have made their mark in the fashion industry not only in India but also in the International market. With a stature like this, it was apt that their collection marked the finale of Day 1 soiree.
