Here’s addressing to all the Fashion Followers across the nation. The month of festivities is about to begin.
With Designers ready to unveil their Festive Collections, we are geared up to get you all the action from the most awaited Fashion Weeks.
The FDCI India Couture Week, 2016 will mark the beginning of the season’s fashion fiesta.
With FDCI President, Sunil Sethi, quoting,
“The five-day fiesta will be a spectacle of ebullient ensembles, grand sets and riveting concepts as well as off-site shows, by leading designers. It will be a tribute to luxury and will pen a new story of grandeur in keeping with the aesthetics of Indian traditions.”
We just can’t wait to witness what shall unfold on the 20th July, 2016.
With India’s ace Couturiers showcasing at this 5 day extravaganza, we did what we do best. Stalked!
Just before the curtain rises, here’s a #sneakpeek to what awaits us.
Suave and sophisticated, Anamika Khanna embodies elegance. The lady sets a new bar for herself every season, and breaks them with an even better showcasing in the next season. With delicate floral applique motifs and beads, Anamika is all set to carve a beautiful story at the ICW2016.
The couturier who seems to have reinvented the Bridal Wear escapade in India, is all set to present his most contemporary couture collection till date. Imbibing new sculpting techniques, the designer commits to redefine Indian wear with a host of unique Ball gowns for the Brides-to-be.
Tarun Tahiliani :
We are indeed excited for this one as the master Couturier will grace the official bridal and couture runway for the first time. With a dedicated off-site show, Tarun Tahiliani will present his collection “The Last Dance Of the Courtesan”. Depicting the courtesans as the custodians of poetry and dance, the models will be seen sashaying in light weighted silhouettes done up with a mix of old and new design techniques and aesthetics. We trust our Magician, and are sure this one will top the list of our Bride-to-be’s.
So ladies, mark your calendars to witness the best of Indian Couture as the designers unfold their creations at the FDCI India Couture Week, 2016.
Mind you, only once a year you are treated to this one.
