This particular India’s mens fashion has earned recognition in offering a grand scale platform of cutting edge impulses that define India’s growing market for menswear. The men’s fashion is slowly taking over a large percentage of branded merchandise sales in the nation and with such male-oriented fashion shows; the market is just flourishing at great pace.

6. Synergy 1 Delhi Couture Week

Here is an excerpt from the Indian Express journal on Synergy 1 Delhi Couture Week,
There are few things that steal your breath like an unabashed, insane passion for fashion. And very few people in this country are privy into the magical world of Synergy 1 Delhi Couture Week a place where the country’s top-notch designers congregate to do what they do to its penultimate potential.”
The couture culture, which was introduced to India by fashion connoisseurs like Tarun Tahiliani and Ritu Kumar, has become the most sought after luxury element today. This longest standing Indian convention was revamped after the boutique culture was introduced with Ensemble.

While the world had already admired and appreciated the French couture through the works of John Galliano from Christian Dior; India got its own couture king in Tarun Tahiliani.

FDCI-organized Synergy 1 Delhi Couture Week is a tribute to Indian couture, where giants like Ritu Beri, Varun Bahl, JJ Valaya, Tarun Tahiliani and Feroze Gujral create the same impact liberated by Dior, Gucci, Valentino and Givenchy.

Powered by Aircel, this 4-day fashion event highlights the finest elements of the Indian fashion along-with inspirations from overseas at the fabled couture city of Delhi. However, the essence of this show has always been royalty that is assimilated with magnificence, fantasies and imperial craftsmanship.

If we ignore the few glitches like too much of commercialism or disconnected elements on the runway; the Synergy 1 Delhi Couture Week comes out as one of the high end fashion weeks in India. And its elite list of guests that includes Kalyani Saha of Christian Dior, Tikka Shatrujit Singh of Louis Vuitton, Feroze Gujral, Simmar Duggal and even Shahnaz Hussain and not to mention Bollywood sirens, the event becomes much more glamorous and charismatic.
