1. Kareena Kapoor
There is simply no matching this new mommy. While most women choose to conceal themselves pre and post pregnancy, Kareena Kapoor Khan continued to unabashedly pose for the shutterbugs dressed up to the T, giving expecting and new mothers all the inspiration to observe a fashionable pregnancy. While on her toes to lose those extra baby pounds, Kareena’s casual sightings have been fresh and stunning.
Most recently the begum turned heads in a black Masaba Gupta polka dotted maxi, giving an all new inspiration to carry the color black into the summer wardrobe. Looking absolutely summer ready, Kareena amped up her maxi with a pair of black sunglasses and a black Bottega Veneta XL tote. A pair of slippers and a bright red pout, sealed this summer special, street style files to perfection.
While we were still recovering from Kareena’s polka dotted maxi look, Kareena made yet another summer casual appearance with sister Karishma, that is worth replicating. Black tee and denim topped with a denim jacket spelled summer chic. We suggest you carry this one to your next day outing. Don’t forget the white trainers, that are sure to add all the charm to this rock chic look.
2. Alia Bhatt
Bollywood’s street style queen, Alia Bhatt’s has been treating us with quite an impressive summer wardrobe. Working the trending staples in their more wearable and casual forms is an art Alia has mastered over time courtesy her stylist, Ami Patel. At Priyanka’s bash most recently, Alia limited herself to a casual dress up, making quite a roar with her tartan gold embellished pair of blue denim from the house of designer Monisha Jaising. With embellished denim emerging as the new trendsetters, Alia worked the trend pairing her pair of beauty with a black and red gingham shirt and a pair of envious red heels from Charles and Keith.
3. Shraddha Kapoor
Actress Shraddha Kapoor took summer street style dressup to all new highs with her most recent Half Girlfriend promotional appearance. On the sets of one of India’s most popular couple dance show, Nach Baliye, Shraddha totally caused temperatures to soar even higher wearing her punk meets street style appearance. Credits to stylist Tanya Ghavri who dressed up the diva in a bright embroidered skirt from H&M with a black Pencey top. The woman went for the kill completing her look with interesting rockstar baubles from Accessorize and a pair of glamorous knee high boots from Asos. An overdose of kajal with casual scrunched blowout took this look from good to fabulous.
4. Malaika Arora
We have to admit, we can’t cope with Malaika’s splendid spottings. With every appearance, the lady moves leaps and bounds, on our fashion radar. Exuding a rather free spirited bohemian vibe playing dressup most recently, Malaika set an all new summer dressup benchmark.
A layered white floor length skirt, paired with a blue gingham crop top with ruffled neckline, from Deme by Gabriella, gave the lady her redefining summer street style moment. Letting her #ootd do all the talking, Malaika opted to go minimal, sporting no accessories apart from her metal tinted sunglasses and her patent ruby pout. Refreshing yet super sexy, this one by Malaika deserves a special mention.
5. Priyanka Chopra
B-town’s current most celebrated global star, Priyanka Chopra, is back to base and keeping us busy giving back to back head-turning appearances. With an on point fashion game, Pee Cee continues to add more stars to her stardom back home.
At a recent success bash of a Marathi film, Priyanka worked a casual street style look to perfection. For her attendance, Priyanka opted to don a dress from Tommy Hilfiger’s Summer collection. The pale blue bodice opening up into a pretty printed maxi looked subtle yet hearty. Due credits to Stylist Ami Patel for putting together this light and breezy look.
7. Pooja Hegde
Spotted at the airport, Bollywood newbie, Pooja Hegde carved quite a niche on our top dressers list, courtesy her double denim dose. To get the lady into the spotlight, stylist Aastha Sharma decked up the diva for her airport sighting in a tattered denim and a denim jacket from Only India. While the denim got a befitting companion in the white Adidas trainers, the jacket flaunting quirky badges amped up Pooja’s style.
8. Athiya Shetty
Making her way out of the city, Athiya was caught oozing much charm at the airport with her street style. Donning a pale blue ankle length maxi with a layering highlighted with bright pink motifs from the House of Masaba by Masaba Gupta, Athiya checked all the boxes with respect to summer dressing, the graceful yet glamorous way.
