Although its summer and the season of colors has begun, we find ourselves comfortable in whites to beat the heat. Whites look pleasant and appealing but they can look bland and boring if we do not properly accessorize it or add contrasting apparel.
Like always we looked to our Bollywood divas for some inspiration and here is what they offered-
Shilpa Shetty
Cuteness overloaded was Shilpa Shetty while out and about in Mumbai wearing a white Topshop tee over denim skirt. This is one sweet way of doing the white style. Crisp, trendy and minimalist was the style, don’t you agree? Toss in statement accessories or contrast-hued add-ons to make it more desirable. Shilpa chose quirky Gucci sneakers and Chanel sling bag to balance the blandness that white adds to a style.
Malaika Arora
It is summer and of course, we first reach out to our short white outfits, isn’t that true? But Malaika Arora was spotted tweaking the style with interesting accessories. She was spotted in a French lace dress from Swoon by Sakshi Astir which would have looked a mourning style if the diva wouldn’t have added a chunky coral necklace. Adding metallic shade to her style with Maison Valentino sandals and Gucci handbag, she lit up the style.
Kangana Ranaut
Instead of going with an all-white style, Kangana chose to do a perfectly blended style of white and soft teal colors. Wearing Dior high necked top tucked neat and crisp into a pair of white high-waist H&M flare pants. Love the fur add-on the same shade! Tan colored handbag seemed to go along well with her style. If you are uncertain about an all-white style, switch to a softly blended style like Kangana Ranaut.
Urmila Matondkar
Have white shirts lying around in your closet? Make the best use of it like Urmila Matondkar by adding a contrast hue to add a stunning effect. Urmila chose to spice up her Zooomberg off-shoulder white shirt with Bora Bora fringe skirt from Fancy Pants The Store. The sheer fringe skirt added a trendy touch to her casual style. Azotiique oversized earrings balanced the skin show well.

Tamannaah Bhatia
Doing a similar style like Urmila was Tamnnaah Bhatia supporting a breast cancer support team. Although the wrap around skirt and the shirt looked like two separate garments, to our surprise it just a part of the outfit. If blending hues and styles is not your cup of tea, then this style of Tamannaah would be a perfect choice.
Disha Patani
Sexy and sweet was Disha Patani doing a white style in Swapnil Shinde label. We have always seen tightening threads on the back of any outfit, but with Disha Patani’s style, we realized that having them in the front could actually make it more interesting. If you are not into jewelry or statement pieces, make the monotone style click with metallic gladiator sandals like Disha Patani. Also, make note ladies that this style surely is the wrong choice for a windy day.
Kajal Aggarwal
If white is your theme for the day, make it more appreciative and impressive with cut-outs like Kajal Aggarwal. The diva dressed smart and sexy in a plain body con white outfit by Sameer Madan. The metallic fringe cut-out was the savior of the style.
