After a long wait of ten whole years, the super couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt aka Brangelina finally got married on the 23rd August with not more than 20 members, including their children at their France Estate Chateau Miraval.
Angelina Wedding Gown
The beautiful bride wanted to include their kids and make them feel involved in this ceremony by letting them decorate her wedding gown. The satin gown created by the master tailor Luigi Massi from Atelier Versace has colorful drawings made by their children on the veil and the gown as seen on the cover of the PEOPLE magazine. The gown was a fitted bodice with simple delicately thin straps with a plain waist and a flowy long skirt. The bust region had ruching which was the only highlight to the gown apart from the drawings made by their children.
Jolie confessed,
“Luigi is like family to me and I couldn’t imagine anyone else making this dress,” says Jolie. “He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together.”
Angelina and Brad Pitt’s Kids
Not only did the kids play a key role in making the wedding dress, but each of them had a vital and important role for the ceremony. Pax, 10 and Maddox, 13 walked their Mother down the aisle, Zahara, 9 and Vivienne, 6 were the pretty flower girls who tossed petals, Shiloh 8, and Knox, 6 as ring bearers. Pax also baked a wedding cake for the couple. All the kids helped their parents’ with the vows too.
Brad Pitt, 50 and Angeline, 39 told PEOPLE,
“It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter,” It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”
The couple looked most beautiful, like always.
Brad Pitt picked a suit from his closet but had borrowed a tie from his son because he had forgotten to pack his own. Vivienne wore a white dress picked up from her closet and Zahara’s dress was designed by Adama Kebe. Shiloh wore shorts and a top hat in black and Knox, Pax and Maddox wore Black suits.
Robert Procop who had designed Angelina’s engagement ring also made wedding bands for the couple.
The newly wed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt said,
“the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family.”
It is believed that this newly wed romantic celebrity couple toasted they own vintage, the Chateau Miraval rose.
Angelina’s father who wasn’t present at their wedding told E,
“It sounds like it was a wonderful wedding. It must have been very beautiful with the kids participating. I know it was during Emmy week and they were able to do it very quietly. I’m very happy for them.”
The Couple’s Honeymoon Destination
The couple will be celebrating their honeymoon in Malta by the sea.
