Playing the subtlety card this year for the Vogue Wedding Show, Anita Dongre has come up with Mughal based floral prints and embroidery, long jackets over lehengas and palazzo pants and printed bandis.
Her brides are dressed Royal in elegant, light and fuss-free outfits representing urban women, who admire the traditions but refuse to be conventional. For the first look of the exhibition, Anita Dongre chose Yami Gautam as her muse.
Yami Gautam looked absolutely stunning in a silver and pink Anita Dongre lehenga. With heavy set of earrings, glossy lips, and intact hair, she rounded the look.
We can say that Anaita Shroff Adajania, the stylist, did a wonderful job. The stylist, who is also Vogue India’s Fashion Director, would be conducting a workshop on styling at the wedding show.
So brides and grooms, don’t miss this illustrious and illuminating exhibition!!
