The 70th Cannes Film Festival like all years observed a spectacular show of some of the most breathtaking jewellery. From a huge surge of diamonds, to rubies, to emeralds on dainty earrings to collared necklaces, the red carpet saw it all. Here is the best jewellery spotted on celebs during Cannes, this year.
1. Rihanna
The 29 old year old singer showed up trickling in diamonds at the Cannes Film Festival when she was hosting a dinner with Chopard. This was in celebration of her collaboration with the Swiss jewellery brand. She wore a Ralph & Russo strapless black gown, custom made shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti and a Roger Vivier clutch. RiRi’s Chopard diamonds grazed all the way from her ears to her fingers. Her decision to collaborate with the Swiss brand has long been anticipated and highly inspired from her roots.
In a press statement, Rihanna was all praise for the Swiss brand, “I have always been in love with Chopard’s exquisite jewelry, so to actually design collections with them is something I still can’t believe. It was a really incredible process and I learned so much! I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s Chopard collection is estimated to start between £1,460 and released by June.
2. Emily Ratajkowski
American model Emily Rajatkowski was Cannes favorite this year. Not only did she astound the media with her satin slip dress at the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival or her playful camaraderie with Bella Hadid. But her necklace from Bulgari’s Heritage Collection grasped maximum coverage. Her outstanding decorative neckpiece was studded with rubies, diamonds and a magnificent cabochon emerald.
Emily Rajajkowski stunned many with her Peter Dunda’s racy ruffled black number at the premier of Loveless. She finished off with a classic set of De Grisogono jewelry.
3. Sonam Kapoor
On day five, Sonam Kapoor made her first appearance in an elegant pink Elie Saab gown with a small train. She accessorized her couture gown with custom-made jewellery from Kalyan Jewellers.

For her last appearance on the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival 2017, Sonam Kapoor wore an ethereal custom Elie Saab gold gown. But her real glimmer came from her stunning 42 carats of Chopard diamond earrings. The actress was there for the screening of The Meyorowitz Stories and was styled by sister Rhea Kapoor. This is Sonam Kapoor’s seventh appearance at Cannes and she never failed to disappoint us.
On Day 6, Sonam Kapoor bought a bohemian twist in an Anamika Khanna ensemble which included a mustard yellow trousers and matching embroidered bralette tops. Her stylish red turban added all the right kind of sass to her appearance. Her accessories also included stunning dangling earrings by Sumit from Apala.

At the premier of Okja, Bella Hadid chose to wear a Bulgari low cut backless gown minus a slit. Her scarlet quilted red dress perfectly complemented her perfect frame. She paired the gorgeous gown with Bulgari jewellery.
5. Jasmine Sanders
Jasmine Sanders massive popularity can be attributed to her famous Snapchat sharing with Kim Kardashian and playing muse to makeup expert Pat McGrath. Earlier, this year she was honored and tap by Bulgari as their new Digital Ambassador. At this years’ Cannes red carpet for The Killing of a Sacred Deer, Sanders wore a magnificent Bulgari neckpiece.

Deepika Padukone made her debut at Cannes Film Festival this year as L’Oreal’s global ambassadors. She wore a stunning sheer Marchesa gown paired with a diamond and ruby earrings.
