Making their way on tops, bottoms, blazers and even shoes, pieces carrying stripes and gingham will soon be ruling the window fronts of brands and before you realise they will be off the racks.

This one is for our lovelies who are not much into stripes. To give your dainty style a bit of a stripe boost, you can take inspiration from this look, Aditi Rao Hydari was spotted in most recently styled by stylist Sanam Ratansi. Wearing an all black Zara outfit that flaunts a streak of stripe only on the sleeve, Aditi showed us how to work stripes the minimalistic way.
In Delhi to promote her upcoming release, Bhoomi, Aditi dolled up in gingham. The dress from Divya Seth sported big, medium and small checks in a single monochrome setup. Aditi wore her multi checks with silver jewelry from Aquamarine and Amrapali. Stylist Sanam Ratansi had this look finished with more fuller eyebrows.
Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut has flooded her wardrobe with stripes and checks.
Working a retro high street look from the bylanes of London, Kangana worked the checks trend wearing a double-breasted grey blazer over her sleek all-black look. A classic formal look.
Checkered separates is the way for our bold beauties. Just like Kangana’s Re-formation separates, you too can grab eyeballs ditching the jaded styles for a catchy pair of gingham separates.
Adding stripes to her airport looks, Kangana made her way to the flight wearing a striped dress from Gap. With the black tube extending into broad stripes in complementing red, peach and black the dress exuded chill vibes.
Giving dull greys some orange zing in Fendi’s striped combination, Kangana took us by surprise. Kangana stepped up her promotional run up pairing the dress with Givenchy boots.

Jacqueline wore the trending stripes with the Madison On Peddar skirt. The combination of green, pale blue and white looked refreshing. Stylist Lakshmi Lehr paired the midi with a knotted white blouse from Dahlia London. All hearts for this one.
Stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania styled up Jacqueline for her promotional run up in a pair of red hot pants. Complementing the pants to perfection, was the striped off-shoulder pale blue blouse from Bloomingdale’s. Just that touch of stripes took the look much higher on the fashion radar.

At the Toronto Film Festival most recently, Priyanka made a striking appearance, dolling up in an outfit from Fendi. Wearing a bright fuschia blouse and midi set, Priyanka gave us goals, as far as wearing broad checks is concerned.

Neha Dhupia made a statement appearance wearing monochrome stripes on the six yards. Wearing the trending stripes the ethnic way Neha worked a black Raw Mango saree edged with a striped border, worn with a striped blouse.

Shilpa Shetty loves her sarees and most recently she has been spotted making gorgeous saree appearances, courtesy her co-judging duties at the Super Dancer Season 2.
To translate the trending stripes into her ethnic closet, Shilpa wore a Swati Vijaivargie saree that sported of a striped blouse. The white saree definitely got a lift there with the bright stripes.
For one of the episodes, Shilpa worked an indigo striped saree from Ragni Ahuja the cool way. Wearing it like a dress, belted at the waist and paired with a tan blouse, Shilpa cut through stereotypes giving us all inspiration to translate stripes into our ethnic closets.

A beige robe and pants updated with black pinstripes, made for a perfect airport outfit for an early morning flight. Huma sealed her just out of bed look with a topknot and pair of white flats.

Esha worked the otherwise formal pinstripes with a dramatic twist wearing a blue pinstripe shirt from Mellowdrama. Maria has aced the art of working her anglo charm on her Indian dress ups. Recently the woman caught our eye working an outfit from Ekaco. The blush pink slip dress got an instant upgrade with a monochrome checked layering that flaunted of color touch-ups at the edge. Interesting and a tad bohemian, this one was styled by the team at Who Wore What When. Maria sealed the look with a topknot and dramatic kohled eyes.
Karisma Kapoor
We have been keeping a close eye on Karisma’s styles. An absolute treat, this starlet is working some of the fine looks. Binging on the checked trend the classy way, Karisma was spotted at the airport wearing a black and white checks pants. She paired her pants with a white top and a black layering giving us a chic work wear look inspiration.
