Lots of stars from these industries made the event colorful with their scintillating appearances and rocking performances.
Let us take a look here:
Shruti Haasan
Shruti Haasan earned quite a name in the South industry for her exceptional performances and claiming the appreciation globally she walked the red carpet of SIIMA 2016 in a Pankaj and Nidhi outfit. The green, neatly embroidered outfit complemented her complexion well. With pink blush, subtle red lips, and messy hair, she looked gorgeous and stunning.
Huma Qureshi
Wondering what Huma is doing at the South Cinema event? In that case, let us enlighten you that Huma is making her Malayalam debut and hence she graced the event. She went cape style in Mayyur Girotra label. The all black dress with the subtle gold tone cape suited her mien. We couldn’t take our eyes off the ring that she wore. Sahithya Shetty, the makeup artist blended the makeup well and gave her deep red lips. Siddhesh Avinash Shinde, the hair stylist, gave her an interesting hair hue with a swirl placed right. Interesting work Sanjana!!
Pragya Jaiswal
The Jabalpur based lady found her comfort zone in the South industry and likewise the industry has embraced and encouraged the talent of the pretty lady. At SIIMA 2016, for the first part of the event, she picked a Shriya Som shimmer gown. To the sparkling outfit, she added simple yet elegant jewelry from Kiara.
For the latter part of the day, she shined bright in a glazing tube dress from Theia Couture. With Isharya jewelry she added more glitz to the ensemble. With pink lips and wavy curls, Geetika Chadha, the stylist, rounded her look majestically.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Samantha totally dressed to kill at the SIIMA 2016. She looked ethereal in a Shriya Som magical looking ivory gown. She matched the heavy embellishments with a choker from Fallon. Most eye-catchy were her Sophie Webster silver sandals. With smoky eyes, and vintage hair hue, Neeraja Kona, completed her look.
Rakul Preet Singh
Rakul Preet decided to go with the Indian sari theme for the event and look how chic she dressed up, even in those 9 yards. She picked Archana Rao’s lace appliqued sari and draped it over a pin striped peplum bustier. The bustier going above the sari pallu added the quirky bit to the ensemble. After Jacqueline’s funky sari style, only Rakul has managed to impress us with her peppy style. With a Presh choker piece, she looked very down-to-earth and elegant.
Sonal Chauhan
We all agree that no one can beat Gauri and Nanika when it comes to fit and flare gowns. One such creation was put to display by Sonal Chauhan at SIIMA 2016. The tube electrifying blue gown looked beautiful on the actress. She chose to simply add ear climbers and hence ended the look with a messy updo.
Among the pretty women we can’t decide who the best looked. What about you?
