1st of January marks its first day of the year and on this day Vidya Balan celebrates her birthday too. As we wish Vidya Balan a very Happy Birthday and a prosperous New Year, we would like to reflect back on the times when her simple style killed us all.
With her movie The Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan revolutionised sarees. And once she did that, there was no turning back for her. To be fairly honest, she is one of those very few Bollywood actresses who looks drop dead gorgeous in sarees.
Many times Ms. Balan has glammed herself up in beautiful sarees and gorgeous jewellery, but there were few times when she kept her look simple and neat.
LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT VIDYA BALAN SAREE MOMENTS
Vidya Balan in Swati Vijaivargie
For unveiling a book, Vidya kept it simple in a Swati Vijaivargie saree. Side braid, fresh makeup and black oxfords completed her look. Very neat!
Vidya Balan in Fatherland
When Vidya Balan attended an art exhibition, she gave herself some vintage feels in a handloom saree and jewellery – both from Fatherland. Up-do with tendrils falling over her face, beaded bracelet and bindi finished her look. She looked good!
Vidya Balan in Shruti Sancheti
While on an International tour, Vidya Balan kept her look rather simple in a Shurti Sancheti saree, statement necklace by Apala and a 70’s vintage pouf hairstyle.
Vidya Balan in Payal Khandwala
For a IFFM event, Vidya opted for a Chevron print saree by Payal Khandwala. An interesting combination of beige blouse and circular accessories completed her look. She looked very good!
Vidya Balan in Chanderi
Vidya Balan dressed herself in a satin based chanderi saree and completed her look with an orange tinted contrasting blouse. A fancy accessory on her waist, hair in a neat bun and red lips finished her look. She looked royal!
After seeing these 5 gorgeous looks, we can definitely agree that simplicity is the best policy!
