Femina Women Awards 2015 – Fashion and Beauty Details

Femina Women Awards 2015
Femina in collaboration with L’oreal Paris organised women awards to facilitate and honour women who have been working hard without stopping. Held in Mumbai, the fourth edition of the award show honoured singers Sonam Kalra, Lakshmi Narayanan, Gitanjali Babbar, Bhakti Sharma among others.

While the show recognised women for their hard work, it wasn’t a dab affair. Attended by crème de le crème of Bollywood, the makers of the show made sure that the red carpet would be a dazzling affair. True to their point, when the celebrities started coming in, shutterbugs couldn’t stop clicking

While many celebrities looked their dazzling best, we feel Aishwaya Rai Bachchan walked away with the prize. We are all about comfortable body image and love women of all sizes. But the oodles of weight Ms Bachchan lost is simply superb. What’s more fabulous is how she took her own sweet time and was in no rush. Here’s what she wore, and the others too.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

For the award show, Ash opted for a dramatic Sabyasachi Mukherjee outfit. Her makeup was done to perfection. Minimal show on the cheeks, winged eyeliner and red lips. She kept her eye brows normal and we kept wondering how she’d look if she had gone with darker brows. Completing her look were sky high Fendi heels. Her sleek hairdo is something that totally nailed her look. She was styled by Aastha Sharma What do you guys think?

Katrina Kaif

This beauty has not been making public appearances off late, and has been working rather hard on her upcoming movie ‘Fitoor’. While we can’t wait to watch the movie, we can for now keep calm. All thanks to this dazzling look that she gave us. In a dreamy Ports 1961 gown, Gehna jewellery and lovely Jimmy Choos, Ms Kaif looked breath-taking! Just like Ash, Ms Kaif also opted for sleek hairdo but we are feeling her hairstyle more than Ash’s. What about you guys?

Sonam Kapoor

Not the one to be intimidated or left behind in the fashion scene, Ms Kapoor surprised everyone with her choice of outfit at the award show. Wearing a Toni Maticevski off shoulder gown, she finished her look with a chic braided updo. Though her Leiber minaudiere isn’t matching her gown, it still is making loud fashion statements. Neha Dhupia

Often times we wonder why Neha Dhupia didn’t become a super model? Her style is very chic, her makeup is always on point, she walks around with elegance and attitude of a super model. Then why? Well, we can ponder on those lines later. Let’s drool on her Femina Women Awards look now. Wearing a Rocky S risqué gown, Ms Dhupia smiled like the show was hosted to make her smile and we love it! Bottega Veneta knot clutch, earrings from Anmol jewellers and fancy high updo completed her look. You guys like?

Huma Qureshi

Last but not the least, we have Huma Qureshi in a beautiful Mayyur Girotra number. While it is something very unconventional, she carried it with panache and grace. We feel, the cape with floral detailing did a lot to her sex appeal. Do you guys agree? And her makeup? Oh God! Totally gorgeous!!!

Like we have already mentioned, we think Aishwarya’s look is our favourite but all the other ladies gave a very tough yet healthy competition. We wonder what Deepika Padukone would have worn had she attended the show.
