The Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015 started with a bang, and one after the other, designers presented spectacular array of outfits.

Between the 7 shows that were conducted on the day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015, Anita Dongre’s Grassroot was a show that touched our hearts. Not just because of her fabulous designs and outfits but because of a very special element.

But before we proceed to it, let us take you through what Anita Dongre had to present.
Most of her designs were very basic – perhaps, they were going with the theme of Grassroot. Dark shades like black, dark green, dark blue and maroon were a part of the colour palette and the outfits contained mirror work – something which reflected the Varnasi weave.
