Stardust Awards 2015 Was All About Sexy Outfits And Beautiful Hairstyles!

As the year comes to a beautiful end, the makers of Stardust magazine come together to facilitate the hard work of all the Bollywood actors and actresses. In order to do so, the company organises their annual award show and the only prerequisite to attending the event for celebrities is to look beautiful and have fun!

As the Stardust Awards 2015 took off last evening, the red carpet was an affair to be remembered. From actresses wearing designer clothes to actors looking drool worthy, Stardust Awards 2015 was a massive success.

Without any further ado, let’s take a look at who wore what.

1. Sonam Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor looked breath-taking in her very risqué Ulyana Sergeenko Couture outfit. Pointed pumps, Judith Leiber minaudière, fine jewellery by Farah Ali Khan & Mahesh Notandass, curly hair and bold red lips finished her look. Although she looks lovely every single time, this winged bustier of hers got us drooling!

By the way, Ms. Kapoor also entertained the audience with her jhatkas and matkas! For her on-stage performance, she wore Arpita Mehta outfits!

2. Athiya Shetty

Taking lead from Sonam Kapoor was Athiya Shetty dressed in a Shriya Som gown. Curly hair and bold lips was the styling of her choice. What we love the most about Athiya Shetty’s look is how she rocked our world with basics. As expected, Athiya Shetty walked away with the Best Acting Debut (Female) Award. The lovely Ms. Shetty was styled by Ami Patel.

3. Parineeti Chopra

The new Parineeti Chopra decided to own the night in a beautiful canary yellow, figure hugging dress by Monisha Jaising. Keeping the rest of her look simple, she finished it with earrings from Farah Ali Khan jewellery and a pulled back pony with pouf. She looked like an absolute seductress! Well with looks like these it’s no wonder that she walked away with the Style Icon of the Year Award. Sanjana Batra’s magic worked really well on Parineeti!

4. Aishwarya Rai Bachahan

Aishwarya Rai went with the royal route and picked up a lovely Georges Hobeika gown. While the gown had a rather simple skirt, its detailing on the bust and waist was to die for! Hair done in waves and matte pink lips finished her look. In case you are curious, she walked home with the Power-packed Performance of the Year for her phenomenal performance in Jazbaa.

5. Kajol

Kajol, our Gerua girl went the desi way and dressed herself up in a fabulous Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree. Having gone the sans jewellery way, she played up her hair and styled them on her shoulder. A very neat trick to make her look less underwhelming. She was styled by Tanya Ghavri.

8. Huma Qureshi

For Huma Qureshi it was a royal blue sparkly gown by Deepankshi and Reena. A golden fish minaudière by Judith Leiber, matching diamond and sapphire earrings by Farah Ali Khan jewellery and side swept hair rounded her look. She looked good!

We are loving her bold, on fleek brows and pink lips! No points for guessing that she was styled by Sanjana Batra.

9. Jacqueline Fernandez

Jacqueline Fernandez went the feathery way and dressed herself in a beautiful Elio Abou Fayssal Couture gown. She carried her plunging neckline with massive confidence and finished her look with jewellery from Nirav Modi and side swept hair.

10. Alia Bhatt

Of the younger celebrities was Alia Bhatt dressed in a chic gown by Sachin and Babi. Ami Patel styled Alia with heavy smoky eyes and sleeked pulled back hair. We quite like how she gave her jewellery a miss and let her makeup do the talking.

11. Taapsee Pannu

Giving us the black swan feels was Taapsee Pannu dressed in a beautiful Nikhil Tandon gown. Aurelle by Leshna Shah earrings, messy up-do and matte/dusty smoky eyes finished her look. She looked sexy! She was styled by Devika.

12. Tanisha Mukherjee

For Tanisha Mukherjee it was an purple toned blue coloured Victoria Beckham dress. Fine jewellery from Anmol and shoes from Bebe rounded off her look. Side swept waves and ox-blood lips gave her the glam doll appearance. We love it!

13. Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon, the latest Dilwale girl took our heart away in her beautiful one shoulder Michael Costello gown. Fine jewellery by Anmol jewellers and flawless makeup finished her look. She looked pretty and part of this credit can be given to her stylist Anisha Gandhi.

14. Nimrat Kaur

For Nimrat Kaur it was Tanya Ghavri’s styling. Sequinned dress by Monisha Jaising and jewellery from Gehna jewellers rounded off her look. She looked dazzling in smoky eyes and side swept hair. By the way, aren’t you guys in love with her ear cuffs?

Wow, right? Between so many beautiful ladies, it is impossible to pick a favourite! Going by the red carpet trend, we think side swept hair will be seen more often on celebrities. Should we master the art, then?
