And that leaves us, the ones up for beauty with brains, all excited. The fourth edition of Miss Grand International wrapped up last week in Las Vegas, United States, and we have got for you all the tea.
The day of arrival at Las Vegas must have been a dream come true for most of these women. From countries like Tahiti and Aruba, girls flew to this city of craziness – what else can one ask for?

But when you have a float of 80 awe-striking faces, who do you look at and who do you not? Well that remains a mystery unsolved. However, from the red carpet of a charity event held for these angelic ladies to bring their benevolent sides, we made our best effort to bring you the best shots.

Another occasion to play dress up was offered by the evening celebrated in the honor of these confident representatives of their countries at the Westgate Las Vegas Reception Party. The evening was illuminated by these sparkling divas.
For the swim suit photo-shoot, the contestants were provided with matching swimsuits and they flaunted their bodies in the time defying sexy pose – hands on that tiny waist.

The next most awaited round features the choicest of evening gowns – they had glitz, they had colors, they had daring cleavage, naughty cut outs, slits for days. Draped in the best from their designers, each of these beautiful women were queens in their own, during the show.

Amongst the 80 contestant, Pankhuri Gidwani represented India. And the costume she chose for National Costume competition encompasses the country’s vast culture from all its corners and is truly magical. One might feel the need of scratching one’s head imagining how the tiny 18 year old carried this heavy weight yet downright gorgeous piece. Though most of us might have imagined her to be wearing a splendid saree, this is what Pankhuri showed up in:
It was a proud moment when Miss India made it to the top 10 best national costumes. But we can’t deny that every contestant was showcasing a genius piece of work for the competition. The others who made it to the top ten were Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Paraguay, Bahamas, Ecuador, Philippines, Peru, and Thailand.
After a round of talent shows the prestigious crown of Miss Grand International was claimed by Ariska Putri Pertiwi on October 25th. Miss Philippines, Nicole Cordoves was the first runner up and the title of third runner up went to Miss Thailand, Supaporn Malisorn.
The beauty contest founded with the noble vision of stopping war and violence is headquartered in Thailand in 2013. With such a benevolent ambition, one can only wish this campaign and its beauty band of contestant the best in all their endeavors
