Vidya Balan is a force to be reckoned with and when it comes to her sense of desi style, no one can compete with her. Long, long ago, there was a time when she was a nobody in the movie industry. She was remembered as the gawky girl – Radhika from Ekta Kapoor’s teleseries, Hum Panch.
Few movies here and there didn’t change anything and then Parineeta happened. The movie was not your regular 2 hour time pass. It had so many feels to it that after watching the movie, we were transformed in their phenomenal world. Well, virtually of course.
Movies after movies she became a sensation in Bollywood. What was loved the most about her was her effortless style and her fearless attitude of donning saree’s at any and every event. To this day, Ms Balan swears by her loyal 6 yard friend and sports it at every event.
Check out what she wore at the International Film Festival of Melbourne Events
In Nachiket Barve
While attending a dinner during the promotion of International Film Festival of Melbourne Events, Vidya Balan opted for a maroon Nachiket Barve saree. While the saree is classy in itself, the way she teamed it up with gold Suhani Pittie neckpiece was just fabulous! The detailing on the neckpiece had us drooling over it. Literally! She completed her look with the regular on point make up and open hair. You guys like?
In Ritu Kumar
Another day, another promotion and another spectacular saree. But this time she opted for polar opposite of what she wore earlier. In an off-white yellow saree by Ritu Kumar, Vidya looked totally gorgeous!
The accessories that she had were earrings, a hand cuff and a big ring, all by Apala by Sumit. We think she looked fantastic! Especially with that delicate yet messy updo.
