Aishwarya Rai Cannes 2015

Aishwarya Rai has been a quintessential part of L’oreal Paris’s Indian journey at Cannes. She was the first Indian celebrity to have walked the red carpet at Cannes, and that was 12 years ago.

The first time she walked the red carpet in a yellow saree and gold jewellery, she looked breath taking. Ever since, her fashion sense has evolved and she has started experimenting with different style statements.

This year was no different for her. When she reached Nice, she was welcomed with respect and love and from there on started her journey at Cannes 2015. Her first appearance was to support a cause close to her heart. Read below to find out more.

HeForShe

While at the HeForShe press conference where she was supporting gender equality, she opted for floral jumpsuit by Sabyasachi. Did she look gorgeous? Hell yes! Completing her look were straight hair, on fleek eyebrows and red lips. We are also loving the red belt, red bag and matching nails!

Red Carpet

Aishwarya Rai set the red carpet on fire with her teal Elie Saab gown. Side swept waves, Ox-blood lips and matching nails completed her look. The only items of jewellery that she wore were diamond studs and teal coloured rings.

If you look closely, you can see her matching liner underlining her eyes. Generally, people with coloured eyes avoid lining their lower lash line with coloured liner but Ash just owns the look. Must try this soon!
