Bangladeshi designer Bibi Russell opened the show on Day 1 with her exquisite collection under the label Rajasthali. With mix and match silhouettes in colors ranging from subtle to bright shades, her designs focused on Indian textiles and heritage. Following the same line of thought was designer Daniel Syiem from Meghalaya whose designs were a perfect balance of ethnicity and modern cuts.

With Mandana Karimi as the show stopper, Studio AV by Gaurav and Nitesh presented their collection titled ‘Dhaage’. With fabrics ranging from Bhagalpur Silks, Muga silk from Assam and traditional Benarasi handloom, they had a perfect base fabric to show off some beautiful embroidery with zardosi and dapka work. The entire collection was handmade.

The second day of the event saw the gorgeous Esha Gupta setting the ramp on fire as she walked for designer Yoshita Yadav. Inspired by the city of Lucknow, Yoshita Couture was a true reflection of Lucknow with motifs taken from Rumi Darwaza, Bara Imambara and Chhota Imambara. The 100% raw silk fabric weaved in Varanasi and Bengaluru simply took our breath away!
