That time of the year is finally here! No, we aren’t talking about Valentine’s Day! We are talking about the other most important day in every woman’s life. Yes, you are guessing it right. The Fashion Week! And it’s the Lakme Fashion Week no less! Can life get any better at this moment? We don’t think so. Unless we get all the outfits for free! #wishful thinking!

Anyway, so if we had to compare Lakme Fashion Week to any other event, it would definitely be the Cotillion Ball. Every young girl makes her debut in the society with the Cotillion ball. Same goes for Lakme Fashion Week. Every coming of age girl gets hooked to the media and news to get latest deets on the shows. Thanks to social media, we now have everything in the palm of our hands. Which brings us to our next big news. The schedule for the Fashion Week is here!!

Completing 15 years this week, the organisers of Lakme Fashion Week have decided to go all in and a lot on over the top this year. This year, the Fashion Week will be opened with Sabyasachi Mukherjee showcasing his brilliant creations. Closing the week will be Anamika Khanna. Her collection Sculpt, which has been designed by keeping architectural designs in mind has been chosen as the finale of the Fashion Week and is rumoured to be spectacularly gorgeous! We just can’t wait!

Other designers who will be showcasing their creations are Tarun Tahilian, Masaba Gupta, Anushree Reddy, Manish Malhotra, Suneet Verma, Satya Paul and many more! Here’s a sneak peak of their collection
