Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2015 has been on a roll so far. Day 0 gave us a spectacular view of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s designs for Winter/Festive collection. Their designs literally had us drooling. With the bar set so high, we couldn’t help but wonder what the other days of LFW 2015 Winter Festive had in store for us.
Day 1 came and we were stumped by the creations presented by Nikhil Thampi, Payal Singhal, Manish Malhotra and Quirk Box. From conventional to unconventional designs, we saw everything on day 1. Well, let’s just say that at the end of the day, we were very satisfied!
Day 2 happened and we were bowled by the sensitivity of the shows. Ritu Kumar and Anita Dongre’s creations were just marvelous!
Apart from veteran designers, there were many other designers who presented on day 2.
Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015, Show 5: Gaurang
One particular designer who caught our eye was Gaurang. His collection – Samyukta had a rich colour palette which included very traditional and Indian colours. The patterns, designs and drapes had us drooling! Suffice to say that his Varnasi inspiration was totally on point!
