It was a parade of floral for the First Lady Of The United States, Michelle Obama who visited India alongside her President husband Barack Obama for a three day trip to India, on the occasion of the nation’s 66th Republic Day celebrations.
There is no denying that Michelle Obama has got a groundbreaking style. From colorful cardigans to her arm-baring dresses, the First lady has donned them all. She’s got a killer wardrobe stocked with all the best designer ensembles. So this time around we were eagerly awaiting, and definitely delighted to find that she had fun with fashion during her stay in India. It might have been a serious moment for India (66th Republic day being the main focus), but Mrs Obama was dressed in vibrancy and fun.
She descended the Air Force One wearing an Indian-born designer Bibhu Mohapatra’s exotic ensemble. It was a floral knee-length dress with a matching coat, paired with black kitten heels.
For the “at home” tea party hosted by President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mrs. O chose a beige A-line floral dress that had purple flowers scattered all over, teamed with a matching cropped jacket.
It was a floral print dress for Mrs. Obama yet again, at the state dinner which was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, 25 Jan. The short navy blue dress had a scoop neck, three-quarter-length sleeves and a stiff yet wide A-line flow to it.

For the Town Hall address at Siri Fort auditorium, it was a black knee-length fitted floral printed dress, with a wide black leather belt accentuating her waist.
Michelle Obama’s wardrobe has always been a topic of discussion as her choices of outfits are very simple, chic and most importantly, they are designed by relatively low profile couturiers. And looks like, the lady never fails to hit it out of the style park.
