Celebrities In Sabyasachi Mukherjee lehengas

Celebrities in SabyasachiAt the Lakme Fashion Week 2015, Sabyasachi Mukherjee presented an array of designs that were all inspired by the 70’s look. Beautiful models clad in floral prints, ball gown-esque lehengas and glittery duputtas and cholis swarmed the runway and made us sigh every single time.

Just like us, many celebrities fell in love with these designs, and were spotted wearing Sabya’s lehengas at different occasions.

Here are our absolute favourites!

Numero Uno!

On number one we have this lehenga worn by Tamannaah at an event which called for glittery dressing. Her lime green lehenga skirt was paired with matching lime green sequined choli and a duputta that had beige base. We like how she didn’t go for the green toned duputta as that would have just made it jarring. Simple pearl drop earrings, pink lips and an elegant up-do completed her look.

Number two

At the IIFA party, Aditi Rao Hydari wore a similar version of that of Tamannaah ’s but with a crop top. We loved how the dress had an ombre of floral prints descending at the bottom. The orange crop top completely transformed the lehenga and gave it a skirtish look (which is quite a transformation!). Her hair were tied up in a knot and makeup was dewy with a hint of red. Number three

Another strikingly pretty version of the lehenga was spotted on Neha Dhupia. She did a co-ords version of this look and we loved it! To be honest, red on red never looked so good!! That, teamed with the extravagant hair and makeup just made her look like a princess!
