She is yet to find a place in mainstream cinema but that day isn’t far behind. When we first saw the trailer of ‘Age of Adaline’, we were awestruck with her beauty and couldn’t wait for the movie to release. Now that the makers of the movie have set a release date – 24th April, we can’t wait to watch it. As the title suggests, the movie revolves around Blake Lively’s life. In a freak accident, Adaline Bowman’s car falls down a bridge and after some amazing lightening infused floating and sparkly revelation later, nothing is the same.
She has been cursed – she is frozen and can’t age a day. Though we don’t see it as a curse. It’s every woman’s dream come true! Looking young and breathless and living for an eternity. But then again, everything has its downfalls. Beauty doesn’t come in handy when she can’t fall in love because all her partners’ age. It isn’t the same for her. Thanks to Lionsgate, we have got ourselves something that can keep us going. They released a set of posters of Blake Lively in her character Adaline Bowman, through ages. Starting off with early 1920’s to present day. And these posters are truly a vision to sore eyes!
Watch them below!
1925
Did women really look so regal and pretty back in the 1920’s? Everything about her style is so vintage. The curly bob, the paisley lined coat and her ruffled dress. What’s not love and like? If only we could see her makeup more clearly!
1931
No idea why, but this poster reminds us of Kate Middleton. The lace bodice, the full sleeves, the modest fitting, the trailing veil, those white roses and peonies. So dreamy!
1943

So, she carried her bob for close to three decades and yet she looks so different in each decade. Back in the 40’s this neckline would have been very risqué but Blake’s character pulls it off so well. We love the strand of pearls lazily lying around her neck.
1955
Woah! This is by far, the classiest poster ever! Even though it is a side pose, there is so much elegance in it. The over coat, the umbrella, the collared dress. Beautiful.
p.s – is that a Pucci scarf?
1963
Aha, she finally decided to change her hairstyle here. Again, thick classy over coat, heavy bangs and a silk scarf to protect her tresses. We love.
1972
We kind of love Blake Lively in side parted hair styles. Her makeup is so flawless, we just set our makeup goals right here. Clear complexion, soft pink lips, slightly bronzed cheeks and loads of mascara!
1984
Turtlenecks! We remember wearing them while growing up, because they were so cool. But we are sure, we didn’t carry them with such class. Those earrings are to die for!
1996
That hairstyle! What wouldn’t we give to perfect it? Keeping it cool in a summer dress and cardigan, Blake poses for the camera in the most candid way.
2015
Ah! Does she really have that dreamy look about her or are we imagining things? We are loving how she is keeping things classy even in 2015!
