We all have our favorite colors that we resort to in times of bad fashion days, don’t we? For some it’s pink, for most it’s the black and for some fashionista’s it is the white that clicks no matter what. All the way from bright, dark straight to pastels, and softer hues, it isn’t easy to pick a shade that might make the on-lookers interested.
Splash Some Yellow This Monsoon:
Assuming that you agree with us, let us introduce you to the bright yellow hue that’s raging in the fashion world and turning up the heat of the summer, this monsoon. If you are wondering aloud “Yellow! Seriously! Are you kidding me?” No! We aren’t joking. We have here two beauties right from the Bollywood and South Cinema getting us all excited about this color-
Kajol:
Fashion is evolving and the panorama of trendy 9 yards sets as a good example of it. For the ‘Helicopter Eela’ trailer launch, Kajol took us by surprise by resorting to one of the upbeat sari styles. In a vibrant yellow sari with a long cape by Anamika Khanna, Kajol dazzled like a jewel. A bit sassy and a bit peppy, Kajol caught everyone’s attention. Adorning jewels from Inaayat by Simran Juneja that chimed in accord with the embroidery along the hemline, she presented herself with utmost grace and sparkle. Finally, the Stella shoes that she picked made looking good easy.
Perfectly set wavy tresses, smokey eyes and nude makeup, she looked gorgeous. Styling credits go to Radhika Mehra.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu:
Although we feel that it calls for a moment of fashion faceoff with Samantha doing the similar shade like Kajol, we also believe that each of the diva’s style spoke two different stories.
While Kajol went all trendy and chic, Samantha opted for the traditional lehenga style in bright and brilliant yellow. The Raw Mango ensemble that Samantha found herself comfortable in, for the audio launch of Seema Raja truly lit her up with luminance. Traditional, antique looking jewelry from Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas looked fab on her.
Wearing the dupatta wrapped around her, with the elbow length high-necked blouse and with the side-parted hairdo, she rendered a perfect Nizam’s style, don’t you agree? Kohl defined eyes with a small red bindi between them; glossy lips and natural toned makeup rounded her style with ease. Styling credits go to Devki B.

Have you ever heard that colors speak your state of mind? Yes! They do and the simplest point of explanation is that we pick bright colors when we are happy and energetic; and we pick sober, subtle colors in a pleasant state of mind.
And like always, when we were skimming through the Bollywood fashion updates, we noticed that the divas seem to be energetic and vibrant, as their most frequented color was yellow, a bright summer yellow.

Bhumi Pednekar knows exactly how to balance out a bright summer color and it is interesting. Read along! The diva was spotted looking fancy in a bright summer yellow tee from H&M over Asos vertical stripes straight fit pants. Fancy and fashionable jewelry from Aquamarine and simple Intoto sandals rounded her style. Since the outfit was a fusion of bright color and stripes, the diva went easy on her makeup and we love it.
Sophie Choudry:
Off-late, we have been spotting a lot of pastel styles in the wedding genre of fashion and a bright daytime wedding style that Sophie rolled out was a welcome surprise. In an off-shoulder pink crop top and high-low layered yellow skirt by Masaba, she tossed in a vibrant wedding day style. This is one style worth a shot, don’t you agree?

Janhvi Kapoor:
The Dhadak girl gives us the dhak dhak feel to all her viewers by pulling out grand promotional styles. One of the catchy promotional avatars of the diva was the one in a vibrant yellow Anushree Reddy outfit. Accompanying her with sparkle and shine were the Minerali earrings and Amrapali ring. Wavy hairdo, winged liner, and neutral contour rounded her style.
Kajol:
To the Incredible 2 promotions, Kajol was captured doing a lovely golden yellow style. In a front open, button-down one-piece outfit by Zara, she looked classy and uber cool. While we would have preferred neutral-toned sandals, the diva surprised us by opting for white Rosso Brunello sandals. With wavy side-swept hair and glossy lips, she looked simple and at ease with her style.
Other divas who were spotted doing yellow ethnic styles at the Eid parties were Sonakshi Sinha and Patralekha.
