As quoted by a wise man, “ Behind every successful woman is a fabulous pair of shoes”.
But in this case, it’s the pair that is driving all the attention to our divas.
With an on-point shoe-game last month, few fashionistas totally swept us off our feet.
Our successful B-town beauties still have their feet on the ground, but they just have better shoes.
Here’s our top 10 footwear, from the first month of 2017.
At the Vogue India’s bash for Mario Testino, celebrity socialite Natasha Poonawala made a statement appearance donning a black and pink one shoulder dress from YSL. But unfortunately, the dress could not hold our attention for long, considering Natasha paired her dress with a pair of pink and black gorgeousness from Dolce and Gabbana. The strappy number got a befitting companion in the hot pink in layer. With two pretty blush pink roses stuck onto the heels along with a twirled climber, this one totally revived within us those flowery and romantic February vibes.
At the Raees screening the ultimate fashionista of Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor looked like a happy soul harvesting amidst a floral Gucci dress. While the midi dress was a showstopper in its own stride we fell in absolute love with her pair of kitten heel peeps, the lady wore to complete her look. The pastel blue Gucci peeps with a pair of cherry topping looked divalicious and in full sync with the ongoing spring season. A pair like this is on our lust list, considering kitten heels are making a major comeback.

The way Deepika Padukone prepped up her basic white shirt and blue denim is one of the best things you will see today. The pop of vibrant colors this super girl added with her multicolor sandals made us totally drool over her relaxed look. The Dolce and Gabbana block heel sandals spread across a riot of cheer with all the bright hues decorating the white base well. The fringed feather detailing on the edge played the master stroke, making this one a slayer pair.
While promoting her Hollywood debut, XXX Return of Xander Cage alongside Vin Diesel in India, Deepika gave us a heart-warming look draped in neutral shades that lit up with the encrusted stone embellishments from the house of ace couturier Sabyasachi. Stylist Shaleena Nathani added some extra sparkle to this gorgeous appearance rounding up Deepika’s look with a pair of neutral sandals that boasted of a three tier strap from Giuseppe Zanotti.
On the occasion of Javed Akhtar’s birthday party, Sridevi gave us a classic schoolgirl look, carried in a fashionista way of course. Wearing a pussy bow blouse from the house of Maison Valentino, the woman proved that there stands no correlation between age and playing dress up. Sridevi certainly rocked the look exuding her usual elegance and grace. Playing perfect companion to this head-turner was her pick of footwear for the evening. The pearl-studded T-strap block heel sandals from Gucci added all the stars and some extra inches to Sridevi’s monochrome look.
Alia Bhatt has spurred up a sensation posing for Vogue India’s latest issue. Carrying a bohemian chic look coupled with that sun kissed skin, Alia has definitely stunned us with her exotic photoshoot. With denim being the focal point of the millennial issue, Stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania has styled her muse to perfection giving all new goals to amp up your denim game. With every look equally gorgeous, Anaita added more drama to each of the looks, with her choice of exotic and bohemian footwears.

Complementing the ott bell sleeves and the frayed flare was a befitting pair of tribal inspired Sophia Webster sandal.
Adding more personality to this laid back royal look, was the pair of silver peeps from J F London.
Elevating this casual chic look to all new highs was the pair of cross marked black mule sandals from J F London.
At a soiree organised by actor Sonu Sood in honor of international superstar Jackie Chan, we spotted Kangana dolled up in a yummilicious avatar. For her meeting with the martial art expert, stylist Ami Patel picked up a candy pink midi dress from the international designer label, Paule Ka. As much as we heart the dress, we have to admit, the strappy heels in the mushy candy pink tone lifted the sassiness of Kangana’s appearance to all new highs. The knot on the side rendered added cool quotient to this hottie.

Jacqueline Fernandes gave us a breezy spring special most recently layering a basic black TopShop dress with a hearty pastel blue jacket from the designer label, AM:PM. Apart from that quirky sling from Louis Vuitton and her infectious cheerful smile, her studded black shoes grabbed our attention. The pair of black shoes from Miu Miu, accentuated with metallic studs looked uber chic and extremely comfortable. This one could be a chic go-to option, for a girl who’s always on the run. That was Jacqueline, raising the bar yet again with some help from stylist Narola C Jamir.
While promoting Jolly L.L.B, actress Huma Qureshi swept us with her military green meets berry look. Credits to stylist Sanjana Batra for creating a statement look, combining an olive Flyrobe jumpsuit with rich berry peeps from Charles and Keith. If you are looking to buy a pair of basics for your shoe closet, then we did say ditch the blacks, blues, and whites and opt for a rich berry hue to get those eyes ogling.
Amy Jackson gave us all new sneaker goals with her monochrome ankle lace ups from Isabel Marant. Redefining her street style well, Amy gave us a cool appearance styling up her basic black dress and denim jacket look with an eye catchy pair of sneaker and a Chanel bag pack.
Sonam Kapoor recently gave us a look reminiscent of Princess Mia. Elegant and regal in a cream white skirt, blazer and pussy bow blouse set, adorned with vintage blue embroidery, from Temperley London, stylist Rhea Kapoor etched a yet another gorgeous look on her sister cum muse. The spotlight, however, was the knee high boots in a warm berry color, which rounded up this royalty by Sonam Kapoor. Sonam totally rocked the most trending footwear piece, knee high boots, with this pair from Stuart Weitzman.
That was our pick from the shoe spottings last month. In this month of love, do share with us some shoe love, by sending in a shoefie of your favorite pair. We will totally be looking forward to it.
