Here are a few benefits of coconut oil for face
No Expensive Treatments
Forget those costly parlour trips, and the chemical based facials. Plenty of research on coconut oil on face has shown coconut as a potent natural ingredient for skin and beauty care.
Coconut Has Medicinal Properties
Thanks to coconut oil and when mixed with other ingredients offered by nature, our face and bodies glow. Regular use of coconut oil for face or on the skin makes the texture soft and smooth, to touch and feel. You will become a believer now, when you start using coconut oil or coconut facial masks. Clean your face with coconut oil, and we recommend the same because-
- Coconut has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that can fight eczema and acne
- The pH level of the skin isn’t altered when coconut oil is used
- Antioxidants galore found in coconut, which helps beat the onslaught of free radicals
- Hydrates and moisturizes the skin
- Oil production of the skin is slowed down, since coconut oil plays a tricky game making the skin believe it has excess of it
- Works on dry, combination and oily skin
- Can be mixed and used with other oils- lavender, tea tree, jojoba and castor
Hollywood Celebrities Endorses It
Coconut facial benefits are endorsed by celebrities not only in Bollywood but Hollywood as well- Gisele Bundchen, Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow to name a few! And down south, almost all our dashing heroes and gorgeous damsels on silver screen owe their luminous glow to the benefits of coconut facials and the oil.

Make Your Own Coconut Milk Moisturizer
Instead of buying commercially available coconut milk moisturizers from the market, making them the DIY way at home would be the best thing to do. Should you have dry skin, which seems stretchy and tight no matter what you do and apply- this is especially for women who live in climes too cold around the nation- coconut milk moisturizes and hydrates the skin.
DIY Moisturiser Method: Grate a whole coconut and scoop out the milk. To this add a dash of honey and a few drops of any essential oil of your choice. Mix them well and apply all over your face and neck. Allow the face pack to rest for half an hour, and then wash off with cold water. Pat your face dry and notice how the stretchy feeling vanishes in no time.

Coconut Facials
Coconut facial is the best alternative to conventional facials that parlours do. Grate a coconut and scoop the milk out, to which you can add a few drops of jojoba oil or any essential oil of your choice. Mix and apply the face pack on your face, allowing it to set for half an hour. Wipe it off with a clean piece of wet cotton and wash the face with cold water thereafter.
Makeup Remover Using Coconut Milk
Coconut milk can help easily remove the makeup remnants after the party is done and over with. Two tablespoons of olive oil should be added to a cup of coconut milk, and mixed well. Dab a cotton ball in the mixture and wipe the face well. Every tiny inch of the face would be clean and clear and softer once you splash cold water on your skin.
