Soon after her touch down, the lady stepped into a modern day version of the traditional Bhutanese outfit, the kira. Kate Middleton traversed the city with her Royalty counterpart, the Queen of Bhutan, Jetsun Pema in the beautiful woven wraparound piece made by Kelzang Wangmo, from Thimpu. The future Queen paired her purple kira with a white cape that flaunted Bhutanese inspired embroidery, from the French designer label Paul and Joe. We can just say, the Queen-to-be has slayed us with this look. Kate Middleton finished this look with lavender drop earrings from Kiki McDonough.
